Lake Como in Varenna, Milan, Italy | A Scenic Spot Worth Visiting Three Times

| A destination worth revisiting. 🌟Lake Como was recommended by a foreign colleague. Starting from Germany, passing through Lake Como in Italy, and then heading to Nice in France, the entire journey was filled with the romantic vibes of the Mediterranean. I later visited twice more and fell in love with this stunning lake in Varenna. 🌟Lake Como is nestled in a basin at the southern foot of the Alps in northern Italy, about 50 kilometers northeast of Milan. Shaped like a "Y," it is a long, narrow lake surrounded and divided by several mountains. Under the jurisdiction of the Lombardy region, it is the third-largest lake in Italy. 🌟We chose to stay in Varenna among the towns of Como, Bellagio, and Varenna. Next time, we plan to stay in the other two towns for a couple of days. 🌟The most famous attraction in Varenna is the Chiesa di San Giorgio (St. George's Church), located on the high ground of the town. Built in the 14th century, this Gothic church is well worth a visit. Inside, you'll find exquisite frescoes and stone carvings, along with a panoramic view of Lake Como.
