"Patisserie Roku" ⁡ Minamioguni-machi, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture A shop we stopped by on our walk after going to Kurokawa Onsen ⁡ There were lots of delicious looking cakes and baked goods lined up inside the shop ⁡ But this is what we were looking for ✤ Jersey cream puffs After receiving our order, they fill it with custard cream made from Jersey milk from Oguni-machi and eggs from Yamato-machi called "Soyo no Tsuki" ⁡ The choux pastry is filled with salt koji, and the choux pastry is topped with almonds and baked to a crisp! ⁡ There were only four left, so we were just in time ⁡ The shop staff told us, "It's delicious to take it home and eat it, but it's even more delicious if you eat it early," so we sat at a table in front of the shop and ate it ⁡ The custard cream was plentiful as well as the pastry, and it was really delicious!
