Petrov Palace Charm: A Two-Day Stay in Moscow

Just arrived in Moscow, I couldn't wait to check into the Petrov Palace Hotel. Located on Leningradsky Avenue, this hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Dynamo Metro Station. The transportation is super convenient - just a few metro stops to downtown, and only half an hour by car to the airport! Plus, there are numerous attractions and restaurants scattered around the hotel, making outings completely stress-free. The Petrov Palace Hotel is truly a historic building, with its entire structure exuding an antique charm and full of royal summer palace style. During check-in, the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, processed our paperwork quickly, and thoughtfully arranged our room in advance. The room was simple yet elegant, perfectly matching the palace's ambiance. The hotel facilities are also very complete, with shampoo, conditioner and other amenities all provided, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Additionally, the service here is quite excellent - the staff's warm and friendly attitude made my stay even more enjoyable. Entering the room, I found the space incredibly spacious, allowing me to relax immediately upon entering. The bed was large and comfortable, though a bit firm, but it didn't affect my good night's sleep. The overall layout and decoration of the room were very thoughtful, showing a perfect blend of history and modernity everywhere. The room was well-equipped, though the air conditioning was slightly outdated, but the view outside the window was still beautiful, especially when strolling through the palace courtyard - even more delightful than staying indoors! Speaking of the surroundings, it's truly full of treasures. During my leisure time, I visited nearby Cubiculum and Club 7 Vershin, both particularly interesting little spots. For dining, I recommend Sabor de la Vida Restaurant for authentic Russian flavors that give you a full sense of local character. In the evening, sitting at Russian Pub to experience the local nightlife is also fantastic! Of course, it's not without its flaws. One thing worth mentioning is that the hotel's location is slightly remote - it's a bit far from central attractions like Red Square, requiring some travel time. This might be inconvenient for friends on short trips. Another small issue is that the main entrance isn't very easy to find - next time I'll need to leave early to avoid getting lost 🤣. Overall, the Petrov Palace Hotel was truly a unique experience. Staying here for a few days feels like traveling back to the royal era - friends who specifically want to experience the charm of an old royal palace definitely shouldn't miss it! 💫
