Osaka 2-Day Travel Guide｜Relaxed Itinerary

I've been to Osaka many times, so I won't go into detail about popular tourist spots like Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. This time, I planned a more relaxed 2-day itinerary to slowly savor the essence of Osaka. 🖤 Day 1 ☕ Morning｜Streamer Coffee Company (Shinsaibashi) + LiLo Coffee Roasters Start the day with a cup of coffee. These two coffee shops are nearby. Streamer's latte art is top-notch, while LiLo's hand-drip coffee lets you taste the pure flavor of the coffee beans. After coffee, you can stroll around the nearby vintage shops and maybe find some hidden gems. 🍜 Noon｜Mugen Ramen Sennichimae This was a random pick, and the queue wasn't too long. The broth is rich, the char siu has a slight char, and the soft-boiled egg is perfect. Generally, ramen shops in Osaka are of good quality, so you can't go wrong with any random pick. 🛍 Afternoon｜Orange Street + Harukas 300 Observatory Orange Street is Osaka's most famous trendy spot, with many Japanese brands to choose from. Afterward, head to the Harukas 300 Observatory to get a panoramic view of Osaka from 300 meters high. The night view is truly breathtaking. 🗼 Evening｜Around Tsutenkaku This area is great for taking photos. The lights at night create a fantastic atmosphere. There are many local Osaka delicacies nearby, such as sukiyaki, kushikatsu, and udon, all worth trying. 🏨 Accommodation｜FRESA INN Namba Station Booked this hotel last minute. The room is small but well-equipped, and the location is very convenient, close to the subway station, perfect for a short stay. 🖤 Day 2 🍰 Morning｜Harbs + Namba Yasaka Shrine Harbs opens at 11 AM, so arrive on time to avoid the queue. Their mille-feuille fruit cake is a must-try. Afterward, you can walk to Namba Yasaka Shrine. The giant lion head at the entrance is very distinctive and makes for great photos. Arrive early if you want to avoid the crowds. 🍤 Noon｜Imaizumi Tempura This is a small local shop frequented by locals. The owner has appeared on many TV shows. The tempura is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, preserving the freshness of the ingredients. 🎨 Afternoon｜Fujita Art Museum + Nakazakicho The collection at the Fujita Art Museum is impressive, and the garden is beautiful. You can try their matcha and dango, served in exquisite tea bowls. Afterward, head to Nakazakicho, a nostalgic area with many unique shops and cafes. Every shop has its own charm. 🌆 Evening｜Umeda Sky Building Watch the sunset from the observatory. The city is bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, making it incredibly romantic. Have dinner at one of the building's restaurants, enjoying the dazzling night view of Osaka, a perfect end to this relaxed trip. This itinerary is very laid-back, with no rush, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere of Osaka at your own pace.
