Encounter romance and an artistic feast at the French Pavilion of the Osaka Expo

Dear friends, the French Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka Expo is simply a dream come true! 🥰 Designed by Coldefy Architecture Studio in collaboration with Carlo Ratti Associati, the pavilion spans a total area of 3,600 square meters and is named 'Theatrum Naturae' (Theater of Nature). Its exterior resembles a mysterious theater draped in white curtains. Upon entering, the first thing you'll notice is a winding staircase that serves as both the starting point and a viewing platform. Ascend the staircase, pass through the 'curtains,' and you'll be ready to explore the interior spaces. This time, the French Pavilion has teamed up with the LVMH Group for an extraordinary collaboration. Louis Vuitton has created a stunning multi-sensory installation using 85 suitcases, working with visual artists to craft an immersive world. Dior, on the other hand, has reimagined its classic suits using over 400 types of white printed fabrics, creating an exceptionally elegant exhibition space. Inside the pavilion, you'll also find art pieces like Rodin sculptures and gargoyles from Notre-Dame Cathedral, making it feel like stepping into an artistic sanctuary. The garden features thousand-year-old olive trees transplanted from southern France, allowing visitors to experience the diverse landscapes from French mountains to coastal regions. In short, the French Pavilion perfectly blends art, fashion, and nature, exuding romance and sophistication—definitely worth a visit!
