Affordable and High-Quality Bar in Osaka: A Must-Visit Spot

Hey everyone✨ Today, I have to share my amazing experience at Bar36 in Swiss Hotel, Namba, Osaka! Looking for a high-altitude bar with a night view to enjoy a drink, I couldn’t find a reservation page on their official website via Google Maps. So, I tried leaving a message in English requesting a window seat for a birthday celebration. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes, but to my surprise, the staff responded quickly, saying it was no problem and even offered to prepare a complimentary small cake. I was beyond thrilled! When we arrived, the experience was fantastic. The staff spoke fluent English, making communication super smooth. Plus, it felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was incredibly comfortable. Drink prices ranged from 1800 to 2100 yen. I tried their recommended cocktails, Kamaruka and White Lady. The former is a Japanese sake-based cocktail with a rich, fragrant rice flavor and perfectly balanced sweet and sour notes—both my mom and I absolutely loved it. Aside from drinks, their light meals were great too. For under 1000 yen, I ordered a Nutella pizza, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious—sweet but not overwhelming, and we finished it effortlessly. The service was impeccable; when they served the drinks and cake, the staff even offered to take photos and wished me a happy birthday. It was so heartwarming. Although I missed the sunset, the night view was stunning! I wholeheartedly recommend this spot for anyone celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or going on a date in Osaka. The ambiance, service, food, and drinks are all top-notch, and the value for money beats many expensive restaurants hands down!
