Puli Winery is located in the urban area of Puli Town, Nantou County, Taiwan. Operated by the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation, its main product is Shaoxing wine, earning it the nickname 'Hometown of Shaoxing Wine.' The winery faced significant challenges due to the import of foreign wines, leading to its transformation into a tourist-oriented winery. Puli Winery was the first in Taiwan to transform into a tourist-friendly winery. The facility includes a distillery, the 'Taiwan Shaoxing Story Hall,' the 'Wine Culture Museum,' the 'Aging Wine Jar Tunnel,' and the 'Product Exhibition and Sales Center,' all of which immerse you in the aroma of wine, making Puli a town with a unique wine culture in Taiwan.
