[Rishiri Island] Bullet Rishiri Island

Date visited: June 30, 2023 When you become a working adult, you may not be able to take long vacations. So I took a whirlwind trip to Rishiri Island, which I'd like to introduce to you. [Route] There are two ways to get to Rishiri Island: by plane to Sapporo (both Okadama and New Chitose) or by ferry from Wakkanai & Rebun Island. *However, please note that there are two ferry ports, Kutsugata Port and Oshidomari Port. The timetable is listed below. ・Airplane 08:45 Arrive Okadama JL2881 09:15 Depart Okadama JL2880 13:45 Arrive New Chitose NH4929 14:25 Depart New Chitose NH4930 15:55 Arrive Okadama JL2885 16:25 Depart Okadama JL2884 ・Ferry Wakkanai Departure - Oshidomari Arrival: 07:15-08:55, 11:10-12:50, 16:40-18:20 Departure from Oshidomari to arrival in Wakkanai: 08:25-10:05, 12:05-13:45, 17:40-19:20 Departure from Oshidomari to arrival in Kafuka: 09:20-10:05, 13:15-14:00 Departure from Kafuka to arrival in Oshidomari: 10:25-11:10, 16:30-17:15 Departure from Kutsugata to arrival in Kafuka: 15:30-16:10 Departure from Kafuka to arrival in Kutsugata: 12:50-13:30 By plane, it's only about an hour from Sapporo, so it's short, but the downside is that it's a little far from the city. The ferry takes just under two hours from Wakkanai and just under an hour from Rebun Island. So we took a day trip on the route Rebun Island → Rishiri Island → Sapporo. ⚠ Flights to Rishiri Island may be canceled, so if this is a concern, it is best to avoid visiting Rishiri Island on the last day of your trip. [Tourist attractions] You can drive around the island in about an hour. ・Otatomari Swamp A spot where you can see Rishiri Fuji, famous for Shiroi Koibito.
