#traveldiaries I just returned from an enchanting trip to Salzburg, and it completely stole my heart! 🎶 Nestled at the foot of the Alps, this city is a perfect blend of rich history and stunning landscapes. I started my visit at the Hohensalzburg Fortress, which cost about €12 for a round-trip funicular ride and entrance—totally worth it for the breathtaking views of the city and surrounding mountains! Exploring the charming streets of the Altstadt (Old Town) was like stepping back in time. I loved visiting Mozart’s birthplace on Getreidegasse, where I learned so much about the legendary composer. Don’t miss the Mirabell Palace and its beautiful gardens; they were perfect for a leisurely stroll. Salzburg is also famous for its delicious pastries, so be sure to stop by Café Tomaselli for a slice of cake.
