I visited many shrines on this trip to Sendai. The Sendai Castle Ruins are a historical landmark of Sendai City. Built in 1602, it is a place to enjoy cherry blossoms. The style of the shrine is gorgeous, with gold foil and carvings, which is very different from ordinary shrines. 🏯 The shrine has a quiet environment, suitable for praying for peace. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom from early to mid-April every year.
