Han Mungtigi Restaurant

#seoulspots Mungtigi is a popular local raw beef🥩 dish from Daegu city. The dish got its name from the thumb-sized👍 beef pieces in the Daegu dialect. What's special about this raw beef, mungtigi, is that it is prepared only from fresh beef; thus, it is most likely Korean beef, hanu🇰🇷🐮. So we found a popular mungtigi restaurant on the basement floor of an old shopping center in Jamsil, Seoul. The restaurant was espeically popular to middle-aged adults as mungtigi or yukhwe (raw beef) is known to be a great dish to eat with soju. The mungtigi is accompanied with some sushi rice balls, mushroom slices, and three different sauces. Each side had its own sauce to eat with the mungtigi: sushi - soy sauce, mushroom - sesame oil and salt, mungtigi alone - pepper paste with garlic in sesame oil.
