This spot blends stylish modern architecture with a peek into local development and boasts pretty gorgeous scenery if you need an escape from Shanghai’s skyscrapers. Must-See: Chongming Planning Exhibition Hall 📍 Address: No. 7918, Chongming Avenue, Chongming District, Shanghai Opening Hours: Typically 9:00-17:00 (double-check before you go!) The hall itself is super photogenic—think intricate display models, decorative patterns, and creative lighting. Bird lovers, keep your eyes open for the themed outdoor spaces featuring local wildlife! While inside, don’t miss a close-up look at the detailed exhibition features, each telling a story about Chongming’s growth and cultural vision. Top Tip: The overall vibe here is peaceful, and the scenery outside the hall is well worth a slow stroll (perfect for an outdoor moment or snapping those IG-worthy pics). Spend a bit of time soaking it all in, then grab coffee at a nearby café for a real local break.
