Luzui Villa is a large resort located on the east side of Dapeng Peninsula in Shenzhen, in the Yangmeikeng area. It is said that one can see the first ray of sunshine in Shenzhen from here. After arriving at Yangmeikeng, you can take a sightseeing bus to Luzui Villa, which takes about 15 minutes and costs RMB 13.8. Part of Luzui Villa is a geological park where you can see different sea erosion landforms and weathered rocks. The most famous is the Mermaid Cave, which is a sea cave. Luzui Villa is the filming location of the movie "The Mermaid". I don't know whether it got its name from this or if it had been used before. This attraction is not very big and you can spend half a day visiting it. On the return trip, you can take a sightseeing bus or speedboat back to Yangmeikeng, the boat fare is about RMB30+.
