Bopiliao Historical Block

#taipeitrip I didn't know about this place until I stumbled upon it while wandering the surrounding streets around Longshan Temple. It used to be a center of commerce but the buildings fell into disrepair before being eventually renovated and revitalized into its present state. It's now part museum, part event center. When I was there, a design school was holding a fashion showcase by its students. Lots of info in the exhibits about how the Bopilao Block became an important business district during the industrial boom of Taiwan
