Taoyuan Airport | Starlux Airlines Business Class Lounge, like stepping into a spaceship, super cool!

For the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, head to Japan's Hokuriku region! But first, experience the Starlux Airlines Business Class Lounge at Taoyuan Airport! It feels like stepping into a spaceship, with its sleek metallic design creating a strong futuristic vibe. Entering the lounge is like opening a spaceship hatch—very impressive! There are two lounges at Taoyuan Airport. The one in Terminal 2 is larger, with two levels. Access is limited to business class passengers, ensuring it doesn't get overcrowded. I used mileage to redeem a one-way business class ticket just to check it out. The buffet area features collaborations with local brands, including three flavors of ice cream from the famous brand "Ninao," two types of hot dogs from 7-11, and a QR code menu for made-to-order dishes. Options range from truffle burgers, pepper buns, bamboo fungus soup, braised pork rice, dan dan noodles, to char siu ramen. Portions are small and delicate, and the flavors are quite good. The restroom, in contrast, uses warm yellow tones to balance the cold metallic space. It matches the locker colors and feels more relaxing. The bidet toilet is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the lower level of the lounge is not open. Overall, it’s a great experience, though the lounge is quite far from Terminal 1. A tip: don’t overeat in the lounge, as the onboard meals will leave you stuffed!
