If you go to Somaemuldo in Tongyeong, there is a trekking course that leads to the lighthouse island. This path made of pebbles is only open during low tide, so you have to time it right to walk to the lighthouse island. It only becomes land for about 2 hours a day, so timing is everything! I waited for the water to open and saw with my own eyes the narrow and long pebble bridge, and it really felt like a mystery of nature.
