3 Days in Vienna

Itinerary Overview I went to Vienna, Austria. 🚩 Sightseeing Route Mostly stayed around the city centre—Stephansplatz, MuseumQuartier, and the Ringstrasse loop. Took a day trip to Schönbrunn Palace and another half-day to Belvedere. 🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions • Schönbrunn Palace & Gardens • Belvedere Palace (especially for Klimt’s The Kiss) • St. Stephen’s Cathedral • Hofburg Palace • Vienna State Opera • Karlskirche • Naschmarkt 🚇 Transportation Used the U-Bahn for most places (super convenient), trams for scenic rides around the Ringstrasse, and walked quite a bit in the Old Town. Got the Vienna City Card for unlimited travel. 📷 Photo Spots • Schönbrunn Palace Gloriette viewpoint • Belvedere garden with the palace backdrop • St. Stephen’s Cathedral tower • Albertinaplatz balcony overlooking the Opera • Streets near Graben and Kohlmarkt for charming architecture shots 🍜 Local Cuisine • Schnitzel at Figlmüller • Sacher Torte at Café Sacher • Viennese coffee at Café Central • Käsekrainer from a Würstelstand • Goulash (surprisingly good here too) 🏠 Accommodation 1.
