We've tried many family hiking routes, but this one is truly the simplest. The initial section was so easy it made me question my hiking skills! While it might feel a bit boring for seasoned hikers, it's perfect for kids and beginners! 📍Location: Shangwanggang 🅿️Parking: Free parking lot at the village entrance with ample spaces. ⭐Effortless & Stress-Free Experience This 8km loop trail has about 400m elevation gain, making it very beginner-friendly 👌 Half the route is paved road, while the other half consists of gentle dirt paths and well-maintained stone steps—no steep slopes to tire you out. The trail follows crystal-clear streams, with bamboo forests providing shade. Sunlight filters through the leaves, keeping the hike pleasantly cool. 🌈Gear & Clothing Tips🌈 🦟: Bring mosquito repellent—there are lots near the streams. 👚: Half the route is exposed to sun (roads/village areas), so pack sunscreen, a hat, and UV-protective clothing. 🥾: Consider water shoes/sandals for playing in the streams—it's a highlight!
