The Netherlands accidentally fell into a fairy tale world

On the third day of our trip to the Netherlands, we came to Zaandam - the Lego town and windmill village. 🚄How to get there: ✔️LEGO Town: NS train, 3 euros and 15 minutes from Amsterdam to Zaandam, right outside the door! ✔️To visit the windmill village, search for 🔍Zaanse Schans. After arriving in Zaandam, you can choose to take bus No. 69 directly (buy it on 9292🎫), or take the train from Zaandam and walk for about 10 minutes after getting off. There are very few direct buses, so we took the train on the way back. 🏠Where to stay: Because there are only a few attractions in Amsterdam and we can finish the tour in three hours, many people choose to go directly back to the city center. But considering the price and the uniqueness of Lego Town (Inntel Hotels), I decided to stay there. 💰1100/night. The interior decoration is not as distinctive as the exterior. It is more modern, but you can see the "building block house" downstairs from the window. It is also relatively clean, so it feels pretty good. 🛍️Shopping I accidentally discovered that there is a place similar to a shopping village when you walk down from Zaandam train station towards Primark. It was nice to have a little stroll. However, the shops here open late and close early, so don't miss out. 🍛What to eat: I had three big meals around Zaandam train station and they all felt pretty good. 1️⃣Grand cafe lagom The waffles are really delicious, and the ice cream on top is great 2️⃣Roezemoes My boyfriend said this was the best meal he had in Europe. He ordered a variety of chef specials. I had the pork ribs, which were soft and boneless, but a bit greasy if you eat too much. 3️⃣I forgot the name, it's a brunch in the market, but their full English doesn't have beans in tomato sauce, which makes me sad🥲🥲
