When it comes to hiking, China is super blessed with all the mountains and with less harmful animals. Thus as we decided to walk the talk with the nature, it led us to Guangxi province where the trails and perfectly laid (as we're not hardcore hikers) and quite a relaxing hike we had. After the hike for a while, we ventured to a nearby village to have a look at their customs and traditions. We participated in the local dance performance and the lucky one got a garland (that's me 😋). Later in the trip, we also went to see the Silver caves, which is quite magnificent. These caves are formed by volcanic flow some 1000 years of ago and still the ground holds, so we can go around and have a look. The mist from the falls keeps you cool, and if the sun hits just right, you might catch a rainbow, major bonus. It’s way more peaceful than other touristy spots, and you can take a bamboo raft right up close to the base (prepare to get a little wet, but it’s so worth it). Don't miss this B&B when you go to Detian Waterfall. 🛏️ [A Shu Courtyard] This B&B is very close to the Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area. It only takes more than ten minutes to drive there. We arrived here in the afternoon to prepare to enter the scenic area early the next morning, and staying here was just right.
