Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, México: A Beach Getaway in a Cliffside Jungle
Four Seasons Tamarindo is located on a secluded peninsula on the Pacific coast of Jalisco, between La Manzanilla and Barra de Navidad. Known as the "Coast of Joy," the area is famous for its picturesque beaches, lush vegetation, and unique topography.
The resort is located in a nature reserve spanning approx. 1,220 hectares and is home to more than 70 species of local wildlife and hundreds of species of birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles. The Four Seasons Tamarindo's team of biologists are happy to introduce and showcase the area's rich biodiversity to guests throughout their stay.
The hotel's main building, La Mansion, is inspired by ancient Mexican architecture and offers stunning views of the reserve and coastline in an open-air setting. It has a total of 155 rooms, most of which offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
Rancho Ortega, the hotel's on-site farm, provides fresh eggs for the restaurants, and 17 kinds of fruit trees, including pomegranate, fig, cocoa, and guava, have already borne fruit. At the Coyul restaurant, you can enjoy unconventional modern Mexican cuisine. Sal, just steps from the coast, serves fresh seafood and cocktails. Nacho Restaurant is located by the leisure pool and serves Mexican comfort food favorites.
