📍 Review of a 7-day, 6-night Georgia trip from April 25 to May 1, 2023. The time we went was the change of seasons, meaning the snow was melting and entering spring. The weather was quite unstable. On this trip, we encountered rain, sun, and snow. However, we encountered light rain almost every day. Fortunately, it didn't rain all day. It only lasted for a short while. —- 💸The total cost of the trip was approximately 52,000 baht**Only for our part. All expenses were split 5 between us and my friend. The only difference was the airfare that we didn't purchase at the same time + shopping expenses. —- 📍 There were 5 of us on this trip, flying with Qatar Airways both ways. Stopover at Doha, ticket price is 27k - 32k (book with many friends but not at the same time, price fluctuates a lot) —- 🚐 The route is Tbilisi 1 night > Gudauri 1 night > Kazbegi 2 nights > Tbilisi 2 nights We booked a car with a driver guide for a total of 4 days because we thought it would be safer not to drive ourselves. We will not charge any additional fees later because everything is included. Our guide, Merab Kvitsiani, is a very good driver. The car can carry all the stuff (5 people, 5 24-inch suitcases). We can go up the mountain without having to change cars. We can also climb up to take pictures on the roof. She can speak English. She can recommend Unseen attractions, take pictures repeatedly, recommend restaurants, and help translate Georgian with locals. —- 📌 Importantly, when we go on a trip and someone runs up to us to take pictures or call us to get in their car, the guide will help us to brush it off and say that we are with them. There was only one local restaurant in Gudauri that was really too salty to eat. Jvari Monastery is located on the top of the mountain 30 mins drive from Tbilisi. The highlight if this place is two different color of river collided. It was raining very hard on the day we went to Jvari monastery. We barely see any views since it was very foggy. Fortunately we were able to see two rivers meets. I would have like this place more if we had better weather. But good thing was it was no one there so we enjoyed ourselves. Entrance fee: Free

Mtskheta (მცხეთა) is a city in Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia and its former capital, it is located approximately 20 km (12 mi) north of Tbilisi, at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Currently a small provincial capital, for nearly a millennium until the 5th century AD, Mtskheta was a large fortified city, a significant economical and political centre of the Kingdom of Iberia.

This cathedral worth visiting. During our visit, it was an active church with more than one wedding service simultaneously taking place alongside a general daily service for local worshippers. The vast majority of tourists showed due respect for those taking part in these services. One hopes that this is always the case. #givethanks #givethanks

It takes about 2 hours from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, to get to Jvari Monastery, one of the holiest churches in Georgia. You can take a Bolt taxi to the top of the hill 🚕 It was built in 590. You can enter the inside, and its overwhelming holiness will leave you speechless. . The view around the monastery is amazing, as it is on top of a hill. It's like a healing place in a dungeon. There's a spot where they say Christ's robe is buried - interesting to see whether you believe it or not. Outside there's a nice courtyard.
