All Moments About Castello D'empuries
It has a Renaissance style but is based on the Gothic tradition
Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Zaragoza (Region)
The cathedral was built on the site of a Romanesque church, of which only the main apse remains. The Eucharistic miracle is said to have occurred in 1239, when the troops of James I of Aragon conquered Valencia. The relic has been kept in Daroca ever since. Santa Maria was chosen as the site for the church, its original 12th-century Romanesque structure being enlarged and rebuilt in later centuries. In the 15th century, the apse was decorated with a rare French Gothic stone altarpiece and a new main entrance was built, now the Puerta del Perdón. More extensive alterations took place in the 16th century, changing the entire layout of the church. Due to the importance of the Eucharist, the cathedral houses a large collection of fine art, currently preserved in the Cathedral Museum.

Another church that requires a guide to visit.
Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Girona (Region)
We visited there again with a Catalonian guide, and we loved it. It's definitely worth a visit to admire the thousands of Gothic art details, including the organ, baptismal font, and especially the alabaster altarpiece behind the altar. Interestingly, we were lucky enough to have the guide play the carillon in the apse next to the altarpiece.
Catalonia's Most Important Flour Mill
Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Girona (Region)
This extraordinary museum is located in one of the most important flour mills in Catalonia at the time. The entire flour production process is explained step by step with the help of original machinery and is well showcased in the museum. Currently, there is a temporary photography exhibition about the ever-changing landscapes of Castelló and Empuriabrava, as well as another remarkable photography exhibition featuring stunning panels that showcase the coastal and inland landscapes of the region.
Jewish History Museum and Prison
Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Girona (Region)
This is a small but very fascinating museum where you can see what a 14th-century medieval prison looked like and learn the entire story. You can finish the visit quickly because it is small, but the audio guide in various languages explains the history of the city and the development of the prison in detail. If you visit Castellò d'Empuries, this museum is definitely worth your time and is a must-see.
