Bangkok | Famous Thai Traditional Snack Shop Earns Michelin Recommendation for 4 Consecutive Years
Think Thailand is all about mango sticky rice? Wrong! The true hidden gem that even locals queue up for is Thai crispy pancakes, Khanom Buang! I stumbled upon this gem at CentralWorld, drawn by its irresistible aroma, only to discover this small stall that has been recommended by Michelin for 4 years straight. Made fresh daily and handcrafted, the fragrance is simply captivating!
I tried three different flavors and was blown away: the crispy outer shell paired with rich, not-too-sweet fillings made it impossible to stop eating!
Reasons to Recommend:
① Authentic Thai snack that locals queue up for, with an irresistible aroma
② Perfectly balanced sweetness and crispy pancake shell

Bangkok | Giant mythological sculptures, amazing works of art, turn your stopover into a photo-taking trip
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok, Thailand, is definitely not comparable to ordinary airports. It’s great that foreign tourists can go through customs quickly without queuing!
In addition to its high efficiency and modern design, it also hides an amazing work of art - the giant mythological sculpture "The Churning of the Ocean of Milk"! Many people stopped to take pictures
This is not some unpopular corner, but a landmark art installation that can be seen in the center of the hall.
Recommended reasons:
① World-class mythological art is right next to your boarding gate: This statue depicts classic scenes from Hindu mythology. It is magnificent and every time you pass by it is like watching a myth reenacted.
② No need to queue or buy tickets. Just pick up your phone and take a picture like you are in a movie scene. You would think you went to a museum if you didn’t tell it!
③ Transit itineraries are no longer boring: Bangkok is a major transit station

Bangkok | Step into a time tunnel tea house that makes you feel like you've traveled back to old Chinatown!
Strolling through Talat Noi, a neighborhood in Bangkok rich with Chinese historical charm, I stumbled upon a vintage shop house—Baan Chim Cha.
① The entrance on the first floor is adorned with tropical greenery, standing out like a lush gateway to another era amidst a row of traditional buildings.
② A giant colorful dragon head protrudes from the second floor of the wooden house, instantly catching your eye and inviting you into a parallel universe.
③ Push open the glass and wooden door, and you're greeted by cool air and vintage items, as if you've traveled back to the old days where Thai and Chinese cultures intertwined. Nostalgic menus written in a mix of Thai and Chinese hang on the walls, with Thai fonts that differ from today's style!
④ The second floor lacks air conditioning but exudes a warm, antique ambiance. After removing your shoes and heading upstairs, you'll find a nostalgic scene of Chinese and Thai lanterns intertwined, paired with wooden tables and chairs that preserve the original charm.
⑤ What makes this place truly special is that it's not just a spot for tea; it's a space that immerses you in the bygone era.
If you're a fan of retro aesthetics, artsy vibes, or looking for a unique photo spot and tea-drinking experience, Baan Chim Cha is definitely worth a visit.

Bangkok|A must-try for those who love souvenirs! Big C must-buy recommendations, Chinese service + on-site tax refund is so convenient🎁🛒🇹🇭
#AprilGoodDestinations2025
You really can’t miss Big C Supermarket when you come to Bangkok! This is a paradise for tourists. There are so many tourists here. Even the cashier area has Chinese service staff, so communication is completely stress-free! This time I came here specifically to restock my stock in order to buy souvenirs for my family, but I accidentally bought too much (laughs).
Among them, the must-buy items I most recommend include: pain patches (very practical as gifts for the elders), Thai seaweed (thin, crispy, salty and fragrant, super delicious), and a bunch of local snacks and biscuits. The prices are much cheaper than at the airport, and the most important thing is that there are so many varieties that it’s dizzying! You can also get a tax refund directly on site by showing your passport and the full amount invoice. The process is fast and convenient, and it is truly tourist-friendly!

Recently, a dessert shop in Thanon Banthat Thong has become very popular. The name of this shop is very cute - Tuay Tung Ice-cream

The ice cream is colorful and rich in flavor without being greasy. Just taking pictures of it can make you feel better. The main point is that there are plenty of seats inside and it’s not crowded. Bangkok | Cosmic-Themed Painting and a Rare Artist Encounter
This trip to Bangkok included a special stop I had been eagerly anticipating: the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). To my surprise, I stumbled upon a small art exhibition that left a lasting impression. In one corner of the exhibition, a cosmic-themed painting caught my eye and deeply moved me.
The painting depicted a tiny human figure floating in the vast universe—lonely yet free. I found myself unexpectedly emotional as I stood there, taking it all in. While I was still immersed in the artwork, a friendly artist approached us and began explaining the creative background of the piece.
He said, "I've always been fascinated by humanity's insignificance and possibilities within the universe. This painting represents my inner vision of a soul traveling through space." His gentle tone and sparkling eyes as he shared his thoughts were infectious, drawing us into his passion.
One particular line he said resonated with me: "The universe is far away, but every time you close your eyes, you can travel there." At that moment, I truly felt as though the painting had transported me to another dimension.
Having the opportunity to meet the creator face-to-face and hear him share his inspiration and ideas made the experience far more memorable than simply viewing the exhibition. BACC is not just a venue for art displays; it feels like a gateway to a universe of inspiration.

This time
This time in Bangkok, I randomly discovered a lunch restaurant called tu baan eatery, which has a very high quality. It looks low-key and hipster from the outside, but when I walked in, I found that the whole store has a very strong sense of design, just like a fashion selection store! The wooden decoration is matched with soft lighting and green plants, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, which is very suitable for one or two people to have a quiet meal or chat.
Unfortunately, the waiter didn’t speak English very well, so we had to rely on translation apps or gestures when ordering.
Overall, if you are not afraid of language barriers, this store is really worth visiting to experience the daily life in Bangkok.

Bangkok|Jim Thompson Museum The Secret of the Wooden House Explore the Cultural Charm of Thai Architecture
After visiting the courtyard of the Jim Thompson Museum, we returned to the starting point. In order to protect the precious wooden floor, the guide asked everyone to put their shoes in the shoe cabinet, and then started to explore the interior of this historic building from the first floor.
The floor is not big, but it has a rich collection, with many images of gods and Buddhas and statues from hundreds of years ago on display. We walked up to the second floor along the antique wooden planks, where we used to dine, filled with all kinds of Chinese porcelain and tableware.
Next, we came to the spacious living room, which was where Thompson received guests. As I walked through the living room and headed for the master bedroom, a carved wooden door caught my eye. The tour guide revealed that there was a safe hidden behind the door. Only Thompson knew the password, and it has not been opened yet, adding a bit of mystery.
During the entire visit, in addition to appreciating historical relics, you can also feel the atmosphere and stories of past life. Reasons for high recommendation:
① The traditional stilt house architecture is combined with modern exhibition design, creating a strong cultural atmosphere
② The mysterious disappearance of Jim Thompson adds interest and topic to the visit
③ The cool ventilation and teak aroma in the house make people feel comfortable physically and mentally

Walking in a corner of Bangkok, my eyes were inadvertently attracted by an orange sign, the name of the store is "Elephant Parade". The entrance is filled with various recycled parts and installation art. An elephant made of iron sheets stands on a rope reel, as if telling its story.
This is not just a souvenir shop. Each painted elephant model in Elephant Parade is handmade by an artist and has a touching story behind it.
As soon as you open the door, you will be surrounded by a group of colorful elephants! The store displays a wide variety of cute elephant dolls, each of which is a hand-painted creation by an artist. Some are full of childlike fun, some are full of cultural atmosphere, and each one is unique. These pieces are more than just souvenirs, they are a way to support elephant conservation

Bangkok|It turns out that the city night view can be so beautiful! We watched it on the balcony all night and didn't want to sleep ✨
My favorite moment when traveling is returning to my hotel room, closing the door, and getting away from the hustle and bustle outside. The two of us sat together quietly, without much talk, just quietly enjoying this exclusive time that belongs to us
Bangkok at night really has an indescribable charm. The lights in the city are lit up one by one. Looking down from the high building, the whole city seems to be dotted with a sea of glittering stars.
The streets are still bustling with people, with food stalls, night markets, bars, shopping malls, and everything else, as if night is the time when Bangkok truly wakes up.
The night in this city is both noisy and romantic, modern and has a bit of chaotic charm. Staying here really makes people reluctant to sleep, and they just want to take one more look at this scenery.
In such a space, each other's company is the most beautiful gift, which makes the journey more complete and allows the soul to truly relax.

Bangkok|I am willing to queue for 30 minutes! This charcoal toast in Chinatown is so popular that even the locals are rushing to eat it🔥🍞
This charcoal-grilled toast stall is hidden in a small alley in Chinatown. It has no signboard and no fancy decoration. It is just a very simple stall that uses a small charcoal grill to grill the toast directly on the spot.
I was really scared by the crowds! I queued up for two rounds but still didn't see the stall. I just wanted to try my luck, but the longer I queued, the more excited I became.
The oven is right in the middle of the stall. The boss is very skillful in grilling slices of toast on the charcoal oven, and the aroma immediately fills the air. The whole scene is full of warm folk charm. It has no decoration but is super delicious. This kind of street food is the most touching.

Bangkok|Finally saw Ronald McDonald Sawadee Ka The moment of McDonald's in Thailand! Ordering in Chinese + Thai style McDonald's is so polite, right?
Every time I go to a country, I will definitely make a pilgrimage to the local McDonald's, and the McDonald's in Thailand is really familiar yet surprising! As soon as I approached the door, the first thing I saw was the man standing straight with his hands clasped together in Thai greeting.
It's a perfect welcome!
No need to worry about language barriers when entering the store. The self-service ordering machine supports Chinese operation, so ordering is completely stress-free.

Bangkok|A low-key but effective temple! Shunxing Temple is a must-visit for Zushiye believers. It is popular but not overpriced. Pray in silence during the journey and you will feel super healed🙏🏻✨
In addition to eating, drinking and having fun in Bangkok, you can also find a place that makes you feel at ease - Chow Sue Kong Shrine. People who believe in the ancestors will be deeply moved.
Although this temple is small in scale, it is very popular and clean and solemn. When you enter the temple to worship, you can make donations and buy incense. You will not feel like you are being treated as a tourist and forced to spend money. Everything comes from your sincerity. I am grateful for the opportunity to worship the ancestor in a foreign land this time. I just hope that my family will be safe and healthy🙏🏻
Recommended reasons:
① You can also find faith connections in Thailand, which can add spiritual sustenance to your journey
② No compulsory fees, all donations are welcome, the atmosphere is simple and warm
③ The temple is quiet and solemn, suitable for people who want to calm their minds and seek peace.

This newly opened milk tea shop in Bangkok is my No.1 Thai milk tea shop!
Khiri Thai Tea is very close to Bangkok's Chinatown. If you plan to go shopping and eat delicious food in Chinatown, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink!
Many people say that this is the "ceiling of Thai milk". Not only are the drinks special, but the environment of the store is also very attractive. The whole store is full of Thai style, colorful and design-conscious. You will be healed as soon as you walk in. Watching the clerk making drinks on the spot is also super healing.
The drink has a strong milky flavor but is not overly sweet, and is priced in the mid-to-high range, but it’s really worth a try. If you come to Bangkok for a trip and want to try some different Thai milk, this shop must be put on your wishlist!
