This is Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It's a little over an hour by car or 30 minutes by train from Tenjin. Kurume is a very famous city with many famous people, and it's the birthplace of ramen 🍜 When you think of Kurume, you think of Yakitori Darum! #AutumnTrip Tanushimaru, Kurume City is a fruit kingdom. Here, I visited the sesame shochu brewery Beniotome Shuzo and Kyoho wine made from Kyoho grapes. I can't handle alcohol, but there are many sweet and easy-to-drink drinks here. I tried a few, and even though I'm a lightweight, I could handle the wine baby. The Halloween decorations were cute. "Unagi no Tomi-san" has a retro storefront. I ordered the ladies' set steamed in a bamboo steamer. My friend ordered the regular steamed in a bamboo steamer.
