Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Girona (Region)
A historic town with several prehistoric funeral monuments.
In the earliest times, Palagrugell was an important settlement. The archaeological site at Plaça del Palol also provides evidence of Roman presence in the village.
The roots of modern-day Palagrugell can be traced back to the Middle Ages, centered around the 11th-century Santa Maria Church. During this period, the construction of the Benedormiens Castle began, which is also the origin of the Castle of Aro. This ancient fortress was destroyed in the 19th century, leaving almost no remains. You can also explore the nearby mountainous areas and the coastline of Costa Brava. Of course, you can enjoy the small coves and long sandy beaches, where water sports are available.

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Girona (Region)
It is well known that this is a very touristy town. It is located in the heart of the Costa Brava and has more than two kilometers of beaches and a group of small bays that complement its landscape. When you walk a short distance away from the hustle and bustle, you can see the beautiful wild coast of this area. This natural environment is ideal for water sports and hiking.
The town also offers an important cultural and architectural attraction, with places such as the Roman village of Pradepalo and the historical city center of Castell de Aro.

Rare Water Park in Catalonia
Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Girona (Region)
This is a small park, but it's very beautiful and clean—really great! The price seems a bit high to me, but I understand that maintenance must cost a lot! The attractions are very fun! There's a wave pool, slides with mats and inflatable features, and a really cool spot—the Splash Mountain is amazing! Luckily, there weren't many people, and the wait time was about 15-20 minutes, though it might vary during peak season. This is one of the few parks where you can bring your own food, so we saved some money here. Sun loungers are available for €4 per day, but you can also lay towels on the many grassy areas, most of which are shaded by trees.
