Went for this exhibition featuring 2 famous artists- Monet and Van gogh. I personally liked the story of Van gogh although it was a dark history as he killed himself due to depression. He also cut off his ear in the hit of a fight and to keep his sanity. His famous image of starry night is very deep and interesting. Went into the Reunification Palace to do a tour visit and you would be able to see a lot of history about the reunification of Vietnam. It was a big palace that consist of a few levels (I forget how many levels there are) but you can take a lot of nice photos in the palace. (Good for your next Tinder profile pic) You will be able to view the President’s office, conference hall, the minister’s cabinet room, and the Banquet hall (of course there’s more room but I can’t recall the names, go see yourself). Someone asked me if they are able to sit on the chair but sadly you can’t as they are items that need to be protected. Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon is one of the top tourist spots in Ho Chi Minh City. Built between 1863 to 1880 by French engineer Jules Bourard, this French guy had high trust in French products because most of the construction materials were imported from France, including bricks and stones. The architect initially named it the Church of Saigon. The impression of this church is a mix of church design between Roman and Gothic styles. The locals know this church for having the biggest pair of bells in Vietnam.
