Sanborns de los Azulejos, a great restaurant in Mexico City, you can’t miss it
As a foodie, my first priority when traveling is to explore famous local restaurants. Sanborns is a famous Mexican-Portuguese restaurant that is very popular with locals and tourists. The appearance is a typical Spanish three-story building with various blue and white ceramics. Brick, when you walk in, you will see an open patio and corridor-style garden, which is a unique cave.
Because we arrived before eleven o'clock, Sanborns, which is usually full, was rarely empty, so we took the opportunity to enjoy it. Go up to the second floor to feel its beauty from different angles. This historic building in the historic center of Mexico City is said to be a hundred years old.
The food is also very authentic. In addition to the typical Mexican burritos, there are also many Portuguese elements such as grilled pork chops, milk tea, etc., which are set against the classic Spanish-Portuguese blue and white dishes, which is full of exotic style. For those who are not used to the Mexican taste, there are also basic styles such as American burgers and lamb stew.
If you have the opportunity to come to Mexico City, I highly recommend you to visit this restaurant. I believe it will be worthwhile.

Mexico x A country full of surprises
This 20-day trip to Mexico and Cuba was probably the most tiring but also the most fulfilling trip I have planned since I started traveling independently. Rumors about the prevalence of drug lords and poor public security made the three girls frightened before setting off. However, after actually visiting this magical country, they just wanted to say "I will be back."
Since there are no direct flights to Taiwan, we chose to fly directly to Los Angeles at night. After a few hours of transfer, we actually arrived in Mexico City at 5 a.m. two days later. Just tiredness can no longer be described. People say that the best way to cure jet lag is to play from the moment you land until the sun sets. I can only say that it is really effective, but it is also really tiring, haha
Mexico is a colorful and unrestrained city, which can be well reflected in the architecture, food, clothing and paintings. Mexico City in the early morning is even more surprising. Although the urban police with live ammunition are scary, the urban area is actually very safe. We There seemed to be some kind of gathering on the day we arrived. There were more people there after 8 a.m.
Mexico uses Spanish as its official language, and traces of Spanish colonization can be seen everywhere in the city. The famous Basilica de Guadalupe almost completely replicates the European form. Even many place names are named after Spanish cities. This is true throughout Central and South America. It is said that the power of culture goes as far as Buddha~

Mexico City - Surprised me a lot !!!
#freehotelstay
My trip to Mexico City (2023.10.07-12) shall be ended by this Lechero coffee.Mexico City is better, more fun, more beautiful than I imagined, the city center is like Europe, because Spain ruled Mexico for hundreds of years. Here I feel like Bangkok more than 10 years ago, there are many food truck stalls and stalls on the streets, everyone is enthusiastic, helpful and will talk to you, although he knows you do not speak Spanish, he will continue to tell you. This trip was very interesting. The people in the carriage stall recognized me and kept asking me to eat. I still spent all my money last night. I don't have money for dinner. Another interesting thing, is that I communicate with them in Portuguese, some of the words are the same as in Spanish, some may be pronounced a little differently, some straight away. So they felt very curious as to why it seemed like they didn't understand, and they also taught me and corrected my correct Spanish pronunciation. I have the chance to come again, because there are still many historical sites, because it is too far, so I have not had the opportunity to go, I hope to go to Canun next time, can experience the real Mayan civilization. Adiós ~#travel #mexico #mexicocity #solotravel

Tokyo Music Bar in Mexico city 🇲🇽 💿
#wecreate
During my visit to Mexico City a couple of months ago, my brother and I stumbled upon Tokyo Music Bar, and it turned out to be an absolute gem that I even can consider it as a secret city attraction.
This vintage and fancy establishment captured our hearts with its collection of old LP disc music, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. The live DJ added a vibrant touch, keeping us entertained all night.
The cocktails were simply amazing, crafted with expertise and creativity. Moreover, the sound system, worth thousands of dollars, elevated the experience to another level.
Tokyo Music Bar is a must-visit spot for music enthusiasts and cocktail connoisseurs alike.

A beautiful tile house with blue and white tiles
This building decorated with blue and white tiles is actually a department store called Sanborns.
It is also called Casa de los azulejos (Tile House). These tiles are made of Talavera pottery, a famous folk craft of Puebla State, and the large stone building's walls are covered with tiles, which is a spectacular sight.
The side of the department store's entrance is covered with tiles like this, so many people were taking photos with this as the background.
You'll notice that there are many other stylish tiles as you walk around Mexico City!
The colorful streets are very cute, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled as you walk around 🎶
📍Access to the Tile House
It is located on Av. Francisco I. Madero, the main street of Mexico City's old town (commonly known as Centro).
It's a fun street to stroll along, with many restaurants, souvenir shops, and fashion stores lined up along the street.

Mexico city
It's very beautiful when you go during the Jacaranda season.
You can buy folk crafts from various parts of Mexico at the market.
There are also many stylish cafes,
so breakfast is recommended for now.
Whether it's the original Mexican breakfast or bread and coffee, it's delicious.
In the tourist area, you can rent bicycles, so it's convenient to get around.
You won't get caught in traffic.
You need to download the app in advance, so it's convenient to download it in advance at your hotel and register the necessary information.
