I've always dreamed of visiting Santorini Island in Greece 🇬🇷! After doing some research and going, it was just perfect! The flights are cheap, and with hardly any people around, you get to have the beautiful scenery all to yourself! You can fully enjoy the stunning views and take as many photos as you want 🥰 You can also play with the friendly cats 🐈⬛🐈 as much as you like! You can stay in luxurious hotels at reasonable prices! Enjoying a chill time on the hotel terrace with a glass of wine 🍷 while waiting for the sunset! It was the ultimate relaxing trip ☺️

#traveldiaries I just got back from a lovely trip to Corfu Old Town, and I can't stop raving about it! 🌅 The town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and walking through its narrow cobblestone streets felt like stepping into a storybook. The architecture is a mix of Venetian, French, and British influences, making it truly unique. Exploring is free, but I did visit the Old Fortress for about 8 euros, and the views from the top are absolutely stunning! I spent my days wandering through the charming alleyways, discovering quaint shops and local cafés. Don’t miss the Liston promenade for a coffee break—it's the perfect spot to people-watch ☕. The nearby Spianada Square is also beautiful, especially during sunset. If you have time, take a short drive to the Achilleion Palace; the entrance fee is around 12 euros, and it’s worth it for the beautiful gardens and history. The climb is totally worth it for the stunning views of the sea and the town below 🌊. Exploring the ancient churches and charming alleys, I couldn’t believe how well-preserved everything is. One of my highlights was sipping coffee at a little café overlooking the Aegean, with the breeze coming off the water—absolute bliss! #ancienttown Visiting Knossos Palace in Crete was like diving into ancient history! 🏛️ The site is massive, and walking through it, you can really imagine what life was like during the Minoan civilization. The entrance fee was €15, and it includes access to the ruins and the small museum on-site. Seeing the Throne Room, the frescoes, and the grand staircase up close was incredible. It’s amazing how advanced this ancient city was, with its intricate layouts and drainage systems. 🗝️ The site is well-marked, but I’d recommend a guided tour or an audio guide to get the most out of it. Just a short drive away is the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, where many of the artifacts from Knossos are displayed, making it a perfect next stop. 🏺 After exploring the palace, we took a stroll through Heraklion’s Old Town, which has a lovely mix of shops and cafes. Visiting each monastery was such a unique experience, and for just €3 per monastery, it was totally worth it. I loved exploring the Great Meteoron Monastery – the largest one – with its beautiful frescoes and historic artifacts. The views from up there were unreal! 😍 Afterward, I visited the Holy Trinity Monastery, which is a bit harder to reach but offers some of the best views in Meteora. The climb was quite a workout, but the peace and tranquility made it all worthwhile. 🌿 If you're not much of a hiker, you can still enjoy the scenery by taking a scenic drive around the area. I also took a short detour to the town of Kalambaka for lunch – it's a charming place with some great local food. 🥗 Don't forget to visit Theopetra Cave nearby to see one of the oldest archaeological sites in Greece. Overall, a day at Meteora is an experience you can't miss if you're visiting Greece. With its towering red volcanic cliffs, deep blue waters, and striking contrast of colors, this beach is a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. 📍 Getting There: Red Beach is located near Akrotiri, about a 20-minute drive from Fira. After parking, we took a short (but rocky) 5-10 minute walk down a trail leading to the beach.
