Just came back from an incredible trip to Èze, a stunning medieval village perched high on a hill along the French Riviera, and I’m still in awe of its beauty! 🏞️🌸 Wandering through its narrow, cobbled streets felt like stepping into a fairytale. Every corner of this village is filled with charm, from the stone houses covered in blooming flowers to the artisan shops selling handmade crafts and perfumes. 🏡💐 One of the best parts? The views of the Mediterranean Sea from up there are simply breathtaking.
I visited the Jardin Exotique d’Èze, which has an entrance fee of €6. This exotic garden is a must-see, not just for its amazing collection of cacti and succulents but for the panoramic views over the sea and surrounding countryside. 🌵🌊 From the garden, you can see all the way to Saint-Tropez on a clear day! Another highlight was exploring the old church, Notre-Dame de l'Assomption, with its charming ochre façade, which adds to the village's historic vibe.
After taking in the sights, I had lunch at a café with a terrace overlooking the sea. The food was delicious—think fresh Mediterranean dishes like Niçoise salad and local fish. 🍽️🐟 Èze is also famous for its perfumeries, so I couldn't leave without visiting the Fragonard perfume factory for a free tour. If you’re ever in the South of France, make sure to put Èze on your list—it’s a perfect blend of history, nature, and stunning views! #trip #Eze #FrenchRiviera #MedievalVillage #ExoticGarden #TravelFrance

🇫🇷The isolated medieval fairytale town Eze Village on the cliff🏜️
The second of three must-visit towns in southern France! I love Eze 🌵
On the way from Nice to Monaco 🛣️
There is a cliff hanging at a height of 429 meters.
The medieval ancient city "Eagle's Nest Village" built like an eagle's nest on the mountain cliffs🦅
You can’t miss the Jardin Exotique d’Èze cactus park on the top of the mountain
Densely packed with various cacti of different species
Overlooking the unparalleled dreamy view of the Mediterranean Sea 🫧
The sea here is different from the sea in Nice.
💡I recommend everyone to take photos in this cave🤳🏻
There are also many literary and artistic shops in the cobblestone alleys along the way.
For example, lavender products, handmade products, special paintings👩🏻🎨
It's like traveling back to the Middle Ages, every turn is a beautiful corner
The entire mountain town is not big and can be walked through in about two hours.
I suggest you combine this with a day trip to other small towns in southern France.
💡The adult ticket for our trip this time is 7€ and students only need 4€
(Students please don’t forget to bring your student ID when you visit🪪)
I highly recommend everyone to come to the south of France when exchanging🥹

My fav village on the french riveria 😍🇫🇷😍🌵🍀🌴🌿
#timetotravel
Èze village is a charming small town on the french riveria that is up on the hill, therefore it is a bit tricky to get to by train.
You will have to either uber, hike or bus from the eze train station. The bus stop is always crowded and the bus does not run very frequently. For ubers, we called one but the driver tried to rip us off and said he has to charge more when he arrived. As for hiking, I would not recommend hiking up since the French sun is a killer ☀️…
If you are coming from Nice, I would hands down recommend taking the buses 82 or 112 and the journey would take you approx 30 minutes.
Although èze is more difficult to get to as compared with the other cities on the french riveria, you should not miss out on visiting it!!!
In the heart of èze is a botanical garden called Le Jardin Exotique. Definitely would recommend visiting because the views is GOD SENT. It is advised to get tickets at the machine at the beginning of the slope and not at the ticket office, so that you wouldn’t have to queue!!!

[Eze, South of France] A fairy-tale-like town✨
This is the city of Éze in France✨
The best thing about this city is its location! Éze is located on a small mountain between Monaco and Nice, and less than an hour from Italy😃So you can enjoy Nice, Monaco, Éze, and Italy at the same time!
You can also hike from the station to Éze in about an hour and a half! Once you arrive in Éze, be sure to visit Le jardin Exotique (the cactus garden) and the castle called château de la chèvre!
Station (for hiking): Éze Station

Eze village
The Enchanting Village of Eze on the French Riviera.
If you haven't been to Eze, it's time it was on your list.
This beautiful village dates back to the middle ages and clings impressively to the mountainside above the Mediterranean Sea, between St Jean Cap Ferrat and Monaco. Panoramic views, ancient façades, and an unbelievable attention to detail are some of the most memorable features of this lovely village.
