Still entertaining, lol - Taking pictures with cool buildings in the city, there are so many. - Kalighat Kali Temple - Go find something to do, try riding an Indian bus. - Taking pictures with Indian people, sometimes they will call us to take pictures with them, see us as a photo shop, let us take pictures, and send the pictures to them now! Sometimes they will ask to take pictures with us. - The accommodation is not expensive, has air conditioning, water heater. - Indian food is delicious, choose a good restaurant. - Drink hot tea in clay cups, hot as ohhhhh. - Improve your decibel level, honk all day long. - Indian drivers are the ones who cut in front of you, squeeze you in, and don't give in, and step on the brakes countless times. If you are afraid, there will be a fast food restaurant that we will definitely survive. - Traveling by calling Uber - There is also MRT, starting price 2.50 baht, how cheap can it be? - The service is like a god, both the restaurant and the hotel, so I gave a little tip. - Go with Air Asia, the ticket is not expensive, round trip about 4,000 - 5,000, good flight time, get to travel to the fullest, a real full day. Direct flight with Air Asia (Don Mueang) DMK - Kolkata (CCU) about 2.30 hours and you will arrive. How to travel to India by yourself? - Most importantly, apply for an e-Visa about 1 month before traveling. It is very easy to do by yourself. - There are visas to choose from: 30 days, 1 year, 5 years. It has many trees and plants and many people visit to its garden. entrance fee is 20 Rs without museum. Alipore Jail Museum is well maintained and information place to visit. It’s located in Kolkata and near Victoria Palace. Jail is historic as many famous freedom fighters were jailed here and spent time during freedom struggle of India from Britishers. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose many cells are still there and many freedom fighters were hanged here. It was sad to watch all the documentation available on the premises and it also gives peek into the struggle and that freedom didn’t come free. This restaurant is jail themed and have variety of dishes on menu to choose from. We ordered mandarin rice and vegetables and soups. Everything was delicious and was in enough for 2 people. Ambience was nice, clean and calm. They have good place to sit and enjoy sports in there lounge. Staff was nice and Dressed up as police and few were dresses as jail residents. Tables were in Jail kind of chamber which was fun 🤩 There were kids who were really enjoying with police dressed staff. Mandarmoni is a small town near to Kolkata, It has several beaches which are clean and serene. Place is not that crowded so looks calm and beautiful. There are many resorts and hotels and few are in construction. Eating and staying options are limited but still manageable place to stay at night. There are some sea food options available which sells fish and crabs. On beach sometimes can get horse ride for small money. Best part is beach looks beautiful and clean. This was my kolkata tour. There was a little bit crowded but was fine . I mostly enjoy their food. There is no formalin on their food. It's completely authentic food. Tastes of food really awesome.
