Battling against the headwind and the assault of black sands, we made it to this sea-eroded cave, and were deeply amazed by the sight before us, so unique and beautiful, as if nature was casually showing off its masterful craftsmanship. The entrance is through a shopping market which is full of small stalls and shops that are run by local women selling local dress materials, clothes and accessories. You can buy some souvenirs for your relatives at here! :) There is a rainbow 🌈 staircase that leads down to the beach. After you get down to the beach and look towards right, you will see a fishing jetty. 🙋‍♀️ Today, Wan will take everyone to Nang Thong Beach, Takua Pa District, Phang Nga Province, where anyone who comes at the right time will find black sand. Before going, Wan studied what time to go to find black sand, but to be honest, it was very confusing. We had to look for the easterly monsoon and stuff. So Wan closed the book and took a chance. 🏖 When we arrived at the beach, we found black sand, but not the entire beach. It's a shame that we went during low tide, so it was a bit difficult to find a good angle to take pictures. You can also hike here. I wont recommend swimming here as the waves can be rough. The beach offers some breathtaking views. Its unique which makes it a must visit in Maui. Reynisfjara is a truly remarkable place. It really does feel like you’re on another planet the landscape seems so surreal. In 1973 a United States Navy airplane ran out of fuel and crashed on the beach. The wreckage is still there and relatively well preserved. You’ll be pleased to know that everyone on the plane survived. However, the record really adds to the strangeness of the place.
