The Kotor challenge!
If you like a challenging hike, the Old Kotor Fort Trail from Kotor old town up to the Old Fort is for you! It’s definitely not an easy hike with almost 600 m of elevation and many steps but the views on the way up and from the top are well worth it. When you reach the top the views over Kotor Bay and Kotor town are stunning. I recommend starting early in the morning before the ticket office opens 😉. It takes about two hours to hike to the top for a moderately fit person.

[Montenegro, the most underrated country! Kotor Kotor Mountain Climbing Fun Adventure】
#Free VIP room exchange on the 27th of each month Member Day
This time I came to Europe, one of the countries that impressed me the most was the Republic of Montenegro, which is located in the southwest of the Balkan Peninsula in Europe! I would say this country is known as one of the most underrated and unpopular places in Europe. This time I came here, of course I explored this beautiful place. There is a town called Kotor, which has one of the most beautiful bays in the world and is surrounded by a part of the city wall.
When you come to Kotor, of course you have to walk around the city wall. There are actually two ways to climb to the highest part. The first is to walk along the city wall to the highest point, but this costs 15 Euros. Another free and interesting route is to climb through a small window and then bend down to get into that position. Both methods allow you to see the entire town and some historical heritage, such as the remains of St John Castle. This time I chose the free route because I found it challenging and part of it was of course to save money! It takes 1.5 hours to reach the highest point, where you can see the entire town and part of the bay. The weather was very good that day and we even saw the sunset! A very fulfilling day!
This time when I came to Kotor, I used trip.com to book a hostel. As a solo traveler, staying in a hostel is very convenient, and I can also earn back some travel expenses! You can get Trip Coins as rewards after placing an order. Download and become a member now! This time I received a total of HK$23 in trip coins as a rebate!

The magnificent Kotor Fortress 🏰
#timetotravel
The Kotor Fortress, perched atop the rugged hills overlooking the picturesque town of Kotor in Montenegro, is a historical marvel that took my breath away. My climb to the fortress was a journey through time and nature.
As I ascended the stone-paved trail, surrounded by ancient walls and fortified gates, I marveled at the craftsmanship that had gone into creating this medieval stronghold. The views of Kotor Bay and the surrounding mountains grew more spectacular with each step.
Reaching the summit, I was rewarded with a panoramic vista that felt like a reward for my efforts. The town of Kotor, with its terracotta rooftops and cobblestone streets, lay below me like a living painting.
Exploring the well-preserved fortress walls and cannons added a sense of adventure. The historical significance of this site, combined with its natural beauty, made my visit to the Kotor Fortress an unforgettable experience that connected me with the past and the stunning Montenegrin landscape. #montenegro #kotor
A beatiful bay on the coast! ❤️❤️❤️
Kotor, Montenegro-- located in a secluded part of the Bay of Kotor. It was characterized by winding streets and squares, its medieval old town had several Romanesque churches, including Cathedral. Home to the Maritime museum, which explores local seafaring history.

Kotor ancient city monuments
The Old Town of Kotor is one of the few ancient towns in the Mediterranean that has preserved its complete defense system. Construction of fortifications began in the 9th century on the Hill of St. John, but the basic defensive circle was not completed until the 14th century.
📍
The landmark buildings of Kotor Old Town are the Cathdral of St. Tryphon and another larger church, St. Nichola’s Church
💡💡 It is recommended to enter through the entrances on both sides of the city wall, walk around the ancient city along the city wall, and explore the surrounding attractions.
If the attraction is Kotor Bay, it is recommended to stay at least one night so that you can enjoy the old town of Kotor and its surroundings more leisurely😆😆
