Living in the southern forest for 4 nights and 5 days, so brutal!!!
Review of living in the forest for 5 days, starting from walking into the deep forest with a military officer as a guide. The first checkpoint is to cross a waterfall. An unexpected incident occurred when one of our members fell. With the awareness of our teammates, we quickly grabbed a long stick and held it out for them to catch in time, so it was not seriously injured. We only got a few wounds.
Khao Luang Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yod Fa Mi, or another name, the ancient forest, is 1654 meters above sea level, 28 kilometers long. The path is steep all the way, so along the way, we will encounter waterfalls and various plants, including leeches that follow us to our bed. So I would like to show everyone the pictures from the 4-day, 3-night trip without porters anymore.!!!!!!..
.
Day 1, going up to Ai Kiew Waterfall, the path is steep all the way, so I stopped to rest often. The more I stopped, the more the leeches started to crave it, so I had to keep an eye on it all the time. We walked until we reached the camp at Nan Ra Fa Waterfall, a very high waterfall with a light mist above. Seeing it made me feel less tired.
Day 2, we started walking up to Nan Ra Fa Waterfall. After walking for a while, we found a place to eat. Huai Khiao Waterfall, where you look everywhere is green. Moss covers the entire waterfall area. Continue walking to the camp and the wind and rain hill, a viewpoint that I like so much that I asked the officer to build a campfire on top of it.
Day 3, the day of walking up to the top of Fa Mi, you will encounter beautiful views all the way. Before coming, I heard about the bamboo tunnel. Until I experienced it myself, I crawled on all 4 legs like a dog because it was very narrow. When I reached the top, I walked to the camp. The entire path is very beautiful. It is truly an ancient forest. Anyone who likes nature, if you see the view today, I can tell you that you will not be disappointed.
Day 4, we will walk down the mountain for about 11 km in one go, which is very far, but the path is not difficult like the previous days. When we walk out of the forest, we will see a rubber plantation of the villagers. After walking for a long time, we will reach Wang Lung Waterfall, our destination.
I studied the route. I only know that there are 3 routes. We avoid high altitudes, so I chose Fa Mi Peak. I saw a cute name. Where did it come from? ... A life movie..🤣🤣
- Preparation -
1. Soffel or spray to spray on leeches Because it's all along the way
2. The air here is cold every night
3. You don't have to prepare your body, just prepare your heart 😂😂
4. There are no porters!
