One of the best food spots we discovered was 来来小龙 (Lai Lai Xiaolong) — highly recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic and delicious soup dumplings! Another must-visit is INS Bar, a trendy 7-floor club that offers different music and themes on each floor. It was definitely a highlight of our trip — fun, exciting, and full of energy. Traveling with friends always makes everything better, and Shanghai was the perfect city for our little adventure. From rainy walks to late-night bar hopping, every moment was worth it. There are classic arched stone bridges, ancient houses, and many Chinese costume rental shops. ✨ We chose to rent a sweet pastel-colored Chinese dress (we call it a fighting fish dress). They also provide hairdressing and light makeup services. But if you want to add false eyelashes, it will cost more. We can rent the dress to walk and take pictures in various corners within 1 hour. Or if you have extra money, you can hire a photographer. Walking through the Shanghai Botanical Garden was a serene and unforgettable experience. The garden, lush and full of life, offered a welcome escape from the city's energy. Paths lined with blooming cherry blossoms, peonies, camellias, and roses led me through a vibrant world of color and fragrance. The most breathtaking part was the orchid greenhouse. Stepping inside felt like entering a tropical dream 💕🩷. The air was warm and rich with floral scent. Phalaenopsis orchids floated like butterflies, while Cattleyas gleamed in shades of purple and gold. Vandas hung in mid-air, their roots dancing in the mist. Traditional Watertown food is a must when visiting Shanghai on vacation. As our friend visited from the UK, we headed to Zhujiajiao for the day, with the first stop at our favorite food spot. We always order the pork knuckle, which is sweet, salty and super tender. 10/10. The Hong shao rou. The small squares of pork belly are similar in taste to the pork knuckle, but they are easier to share, and they just need unwrapping from their leaves. 8/10 The vegetables l, soups and fish dishes are also really tasty, but less popular for tourist as some of the he tastes and smells are a little unusual. #shanghaitrip

Hidden away in the lanes of Zhujiajiao Shanghai is the best Tibetan restaurant in Shanghai. The little restaurant has a menu packed full of delicious Yak meat dishes, teas and homemade alcohols. Our favorites were the Yak ribs, the spicy potato bites and the yak cheeses. The tea is very sweet, but worth trying. it's very similar to an Indian masala tea. In the downstairs there is seating over the water and upstairs there is traditional floor tables, tapestries and tibbetan clothing decorating the venue. To find the restaurant. Search '牦牛餐厅' in dianping and you can make a reservation. 10/10 would reccomend if you are visiting Zhujiajiao. #shanghaitrip

One of the best things about visiting in March is that it’s the low season. This means almost every ride had a wait time of less than 30 minutes! Normally, popular attractions like “Soaring Over the Horizon” and “TRON Lightcycle Power Run” can have wait times of over 2 hours, but this time, we got on in just 20 minutes. It was an amazing experience! ✅Cold Weather – Stay Warm Although March is technically spring, Shanghai is still quite cold, especially in the mornings and evenings. The wind can be strong, so I highly recommend wearing a windproof jacket and a scarf, especially if you plan to stay for the nighttime fireworks or parades. Otherwise, it can get really chilly. ✅Dining Tip – Disneytown is a Great Alternative Food inside the park is quite pricey and has limited options. Instead, we chose to eat at Disneytown, which has a wider variety of food (Chinese, Western, Japanese, etc.) and is more affordable than the park restaurants. Highly recommend checking it out for a better dining experience! ✅Spring Vibes – The Park is in Full Bloom One of the most beautiful things about visiting in March is that the entire park is filled with blooming flowers. The colorful floral displays around the castle and main entrance add an extra touch of magic to the experience. Wukang Building is a historic building in the former French Concession area. When I was researching before the trip, I saw a photo of this building and I definitely wanted to go there☺️ I've never seen a building like this in my country (Japan)!
