Located in the heart of Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most iconic and breathtaking attractions. This sprawling 101-hectare park redefines urban nature, blending innovative architecture with lush greenery to create a futuristic botanical wonderland that attracts millions of visitors each year.
The centerpiece of the park is the Supertree Grove—towering vertical gardens ranging from 25 to 50 meters high. These awe-inspiring structures are not only visually stunning but also functional, serving as environmental engines that collect rainwater and generate solar energy. The OCBC Skyway, a 128-meter-long aerial walkway, offers panoramic views of the gardens and the Marina Bay skyline.
Inside the Flower Dome, the world’s largest glass greenhouse, visitors can wander through ever-changing floral displays from Mediterranean and semi-arid regions. Just next door, the Cloud Forest features a mystical mountain covered in lush vegetation and a stunning indoor waterfall—the tallest of its kind when it opened.
Beyond the conservatories, Gardens by the Bay features serene lakes, themed gardens, sculptures, and family-friendly attractions. At night, the Supertrees come alive during the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, creating a magical experience under the stars.
Easily accessible via Bayfront MRT Station, the gardens are open daily with free entry to the outdoor areas. Separate tickets are required for the conservatories and OCBC Skyway.

Blossoms under Starlight: Night at Flower Dome
Venturing into Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome after dusk was like stepping into a fairy tale. As the encroaching night sky donned its starlit cape, the Flower Dome became a radiant orb of botanical beauty. Nestled beneath the cold steel and glass structure, a world of diverse flora flourished, illuminated by the soft glow of carefully placed lights.
From the arid landscapes of the succulent garden to the colorful splashes of the flower field, the Dome was alive with nocturnal charm. The shadows of night did not dull the vibrant hues of petals; instead, they were amplified, creating an ethereal glow that gave a new dimension to these botanical marvels.
Amid the serene sounds of nature, the Flower Dome was a living, breathing night garden, showcasing the mesmerizing cycle of life from twilight to dawn. An enchanting nocturnal journey, not soon to be forgotten.

Twilight Symphony: Gardens by the Bay
My feet traced paths through Gardens by the Bay as twilight painted the Singapore sky with an exquisite palette of fading blues. The iconic SuperTree Grove rose against the dusky horizon, cloaked in a soft luminescence that promised the spectacle of the night to come. Around me, the park's diverse flora seamlessly transitioned from day's end to the hush of evening, nature's rhythm unbroken.
As night settled, the scene transformed dramatically. The SuperTrees bloomed in a kaleidoscope of twinkling lights, their bio-luminescent brilliance rivaling the star-studded sky above. The rhythm of light harmonized with the quiet whispers of the night-time flora, creating a hypnotic symphony of nature and technology.
The evening culminated in a captivating drone show, a swarm of lights dancing in the darkness, further illuminating the Gardens' wonders. Gardens by the Bay, under the veil of night, unveiled a spectacle of light, life, and limitless imagination.

Small island country, Singapore
#sginsider
Singapore, one of the smallest countries in the world, is an island country in Asia. Despite its small size, it is one of the most developed countries in the world.
As soon as you step in here, a beautiful airport awaits you. You can reach the city center from the airport by metro, which takes 30 minutes. Tourist destinations are very close to each other, you can even go to most places on foot.
All the buildings here are built to be intertwined with nature, so it is possible to see beautiful works of art. Among the most important places to visit are Marina bay sands, garden by the bay and sentosa island.
I definitely recommend you to come here, I'm sure you won't say you didn't like it.

Wild wild weekend at Singapore Zoo
Had a wild wild weekend at the Singapore Zoo! It’s been years since I last visited the Zoo. The last time was probably in Primary School? And it has been over more than 15 years 🙊🙊🙊
It was truly amazing getting to reminisce the old good young times. Turned into a kid for one day and were fascinated by the animals and animal shows, especially “Splash Safari” where you get to see the sea lion performing! It was so cute and smart as well! 🦭😍 Much lovesss for this little mammal~ Do remember that you will have to do bookings for the shows two hours beforehand!
Explored the Zoo and got to visit the different animals like the varieties of monkeys, giraffe, zebra, and was even surprised to see little penguins! 🐧
Headed to the River Wonders next and yes, you wouldn’t want to miss out visiting the pandas family, Kai Kai, Jia Jia and Le Le! Lucky us got to see Kai Kai chewing on his bamboo and a glimpse of Le Le’s back! 🐼🎋
The Singapore Zoo and River Safari is definitely one of the attractions the young and old would want to visit! 🦓🦧🦘🐖🦒🦜🦋🦩🦚

Universal Studios Singapore
📍8 Sentosa Gateway, 098269
Finally during Christmas, we came to Universal Studios Singapore. 🎄 During Christmas, the USS opens from 12pm to 9pm, and the project closes at 8pm. It may change every month. Please check the opening time on the app in advance.
With the gradual easing of the epidemic and the Christmas holiday, USS is already crowded with people. 👨👩👦👦👨👩👧👧Therefore, it is recommended to go as early as possible and enter the park when it is open for business. Go to the popular rides first, it might save your some time queueing. In addition, download the USS app to check the queue time of the rides and the time of the meeting. 🎄 There are a lot of Christmas decorations during the Christmas season, as well as a meeting with Santa Claus.🎅🏼
The overall area of USS is small, and the most recommended projects are TRANSFORMERS The Ride and Revenge of the Mummy. The visual effects of TRANSFORMERS The Ride are very shocking and immersive. 😍Revenge of the Mummy is more thrilling.
There are restaurants and snack carts in the park, and there are also drinks for selling. 🥤 When the restaurant is crowded, you may need to line up. Drinks are slightly more expensive. You can bring your own if you mind.

Jurong Bird Park
📍2 Jurong Hill, 628925
Jurong Bird Park is Asia's largest bird park, and is the only one that not near other zoos. Like its name, there are only birds and animals, but there are hundreds of species.🐦
The star in this bird park is undoubtedly the flamingo. There are many flamingo parks in the garden, having different species of flamingos in different colors. They are all very elegant and beautiful.😍
In order to provide a comfortable living environment for the birds, many tall and large sheds were built in the park to restore the natural ecological environment as much as possible. 🌳People can also walk in and get close to the birds. There is even a waterfall in one of the sheds. But the parrots are just kept in cages, looking a bit pitiful.🐥

River Wonders
📍80 Mandai Lake Rd, Singapore 729826
River Wonders is a zoo and aquarium designed with rivers as the theme in Singapore. It has one route and shows the Ecosystems of different rivers, such as the Mekong, Yangtze, Amazon, etc. 🏞 There are all kinds of fish, birds, turtles, etc.
One of the most popular animals in river wonders is definitely the panda in Yangtze area. 🐼The mother panda now has a child, so they live in the panda park, where the air conditioner is fully turn on to give the panda the most comfortable environment to live. And the panda I saw just lied down and kept eating bamboo. So chilled and cute!
Another activity I really like is the ARQ ride in Amazon area. 🚣♀️ The boat will take you to see the animals around Amazon. It feels like we are actually in Amazon. But the ride is not long, and it needs extra ticket.

Singapore Zoo
📍80 Mandai Lake Rd, 729826
It’s a huge zoo. There are various animals from all over the world, among which monkeys of all kinds are the most, and the monkeys are also very cute and active. 🐒The zoo has a very good environment and protects animals very well. It also promotes the idea of protecting nature and protecting animals in every place. 🌳Monkeys and peacocks can occasionally be seen walking around on the road.
The zoo is very large, so it is best to find a map to avoid getting lost. There is a children's playground in the zoo, and there is also place to have meal. 🍜There are some free animal performances, but reservations are required in advance. It takes about 3-4 hours walking around the whole zoo.

Skyline Luge Sentosa
📍1 Imbiah Rd, 099692
Skyline Luge my favorite entertainment on the whole island. It includes Luge ride and Skyride. 🚠 We can take the Skyride to the top, and then Luge down. We bought a ticket of 4 rides plus a digital photo, which is totally worthy.
The skyride is like a cable car, with two lines, one is a little bit higher. You can choose either one. It feels safe on it and you could see the beautiful view of whole Sentosa. 🌄 And the luge ride is a very simple small car, which is friendly and easy to use for all ages of people. 🚗 It feels so awesome to ride down from the top in a high speed. The only regret is that the distance is too short and it is over in a while. But this is why we bought four rides.
Every ride of both skyride and luge, there’s a camera on the way. 📷But you need to pay extra for the digital photo. It was hot and tiring but we had so much fun.

🎄Christmas Wonderland
🎄Christmas Wonderland is the big event in Singapore to celebrate Christmas on Gardens by the Bay. 🌳The event requires pre-purchased ticket, which is now $9 for an adult.
First of all, there are many Christmas installations in it, which allows you to take many beautiful Christmas photos. The staff will help to take photos sometimes. There’s even a merry-go-round inside. 🎠But it requires extra ticket to ride on it.
In addition, there are some carnival stalls where you can play games to win prizes such as dolls. 🧸 There is also a large area with many tables on the grassland, and some food and drink stalls. There you can buy some burgers and fries, beers, and of course, mulled wine for Christmas. 🍷 You can sit around the table, have some food and drink, and also watch the Christmas light show. What a chilled Christmas.

Science Centre Singapore is located around Jurong east. The price of adult ticket is $12 if not Singaporean or PR. 💰There are many exhibitions, including energy, vision, biology, urban construction and many other contents.⚛️
🧒It is more suitable for children to come here, and there’re many parents who will bring their children to learn about science. But I think the science center is also very suitable for adults. There is a lot of content involved, and most of the exhibition installations can be played and interactive, which is very participatory. 🔬We can learn or feel some scientific principles through play. It’s truly also interesting for adults. If I say, it’s worthy for the ticket.

It was a memorable visit to Changi Jewel as we got the chance to enjoy a spectacular view of the HSBC rain vortex from the canopy bridge. In addition, the hedge maze was well groomed and flowers connected to sensors would bloom whenever someone walked passed them. The Christmas theme was well executed with Xmas trees lined along the attractions and miniature snowflakes falling as we neared the end of the park. Really gets one into the Christmas spirit. A really great location to take photos fit for the gram. All in all, a marvellous experience for us. :3

Chijmes and candlelight concert
📍30 Victoria Street, Singapore 187996
I bought the ticket for candlelight concert at Chijmes hall. 🎼 Candlelight concert is classic concert taken place at night in the place with a huge number of candles (fake ones for sure). It has different themes and I chose the tribute to Queen. 🤴
Chijmes is beautiful white Gothic building with long history. Chijmes Hall is used to be a church, now a function hall. ⛪️ The place is now an entertainment center, with lots of great restaurants in it. Besides, as it’s such a beautiful building, it also a popular place for photography.📷
Now that it’s near Christmas, there’re some special activities here. I saw a skate rink, a very small one. There is a Christmas light show every Friday to Sunday, no admission is needed. 🎄

There are even some children's exhibitions. The venue is very large and contains a lot of content. It is recommended to leave at least 1.5 hours for a good stroll.

Merlion Park - landmark of SG
Merlion Park
📍1 Fullerton Rd, S049213
Coming here is like going to the Bund in Shanghai, guess a city should have a landmark like this.🏙 It is located next to the Singapore River and has two Merlion statues. On the other side there are Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands, artscience museum and Singapore Flyer. And there're all the skyscrapers around.🌇
There are many restaurants, bars and cafes on the banks of the river. 🍽 How chill it is to grab some drinks by the river and see the scenery. Everyone coming to Singapore must take a photo with the Merlion and pick up the "fortune" that the Merlion sprays. 📷But the Merlion was doing maintenance on the day I went, and there was no water spray, maybe I could come back to pick up the fortune another day. 💰
Bought a Merlion ice cream in a shop next to Merlion, it’s cute and tasty, a bit expensive though.🍦

Mesmerized by Nature: My Visit to the HSBC Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi
As a travel blogger, I constantly seek experiences that blend nature with innovation, and the HSBC Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi Airport offers just that. Standing at 40 meters, it's the world's tallest indoor waterfall, cascading through the heart of a lush indoor forest.
During my visit, I was captivated by the sight of water pouring from the oculus in the glass dome, surrounded by the verdant Shiseido Forest Valley. The combination of natural elements and architectural design creates a serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for relaxation, reflection, and photography.
As evening approached, the Rain Vortex transformed into a canvas for a mesmerizing light and sound show, illuminating the waterfall in vibrant hues. The spectacle added a magical touch to the experience, leaving me in awe of the seamless integration of technology and nature.
What I love most is that it’s accessible to everyone, whether you're flying or just visiting Jewel. The Rain Vortex is a true symbol of Singapore’s creativity and green vision—an iconic attraction that’s not to be missed.
