5 locations for a 1-Day Trip @Taiwan with a car rental and driver
This route departs from Taipei, destination is Jiufen.
🚗 We chose to rent a car with a driver, it was super convenient. We requested a driver who spoke Thai. The driver who came was the owner. 😂 He is Taiwanese but can speak Thai. He is very talkative.
.
When we went to Jiufen, they let us choose where we wanted to stop. The places we chose were 5 locations as follows 👇
- Zhengbin Fishing Harbor, a harbor with colorful buildings, another landmark that you must come to take pictures of. There are restaurants and cafes around, and many Thais.
.
- Houtong Cat Village, a cat village with lots of cats. There are souvenir shops, cat treats, and some restaurants. When you walk up, there is a cafe with a great vibe. We arrived in the afternoon, most of the cats were sleeping, but we still saw a lot of them. 😊
.
- Yinyang Sea, the Yinyang Sea or the Two-Colored Sea. There are old buildings on the hill behind.
.
- Golden Waterfall, a golden waterfall. According to history, this area used to be an old gold mine.
.
- Jiufen, the highlight is the Amei Tea House, which may be a bit hard to find. And there are many people waiting to take pictures at this angle. There are many foods, bua loy, fried mushrooms, everything is delicious.
.
- 1Day Trip costs 4,000NT/8 hours, no deposit required.
- This price is for 4 people, excluding the driver. It's a Tesla.
- You can inform the pick-up and drop-off points in Taipei. We can pick up and drop off at the hotel.
- Any time you want, no later than noon, count 8 hours.
- The driver also gave us a map of Jiufen, showing where everything is, what to try, etc.
- Pick up and drop off on time, take pictures, tell the history of each place, and are very entertaining. Take good care of us.
.
The car fee is 4,000/4 people, which is 1,000NT per person, which is about 1,000 baht per person. For us, it's worth it. We don't have to transfer by ourselves. Save your leg strength to walk around Jiufen 😂
