#Spring0yentrip Recently, NIKE BY YOU has been gaining popularity among Japanese travelers to Korea. You can create your own designs by sticking patches on sweatshirts, T-shirts, caps, etc.! When I visited the Seoul store around noon on the first day, the numbered tickets had already been distributed and I was unable to register. 😭 I took a gamble and went to the Hongdae store, but I was able to create my own without lining up at all, so I will introduce it in this post. 🙆♀️ If you want to spend the morning relaxing at the hotel without lining up, or if there are other stores you want to line up at in the morning, the Hongdae store is recommended. 😆 (Information as of March 2025) We arrived at the Hongdae store around 12:30. I entered the store with a pounding heart and saw several customers choosing patches. 👀 When I called out to the store staff, they said they could guide me immediately, so I decided which product to customize first! You can also try on the items, so please feel free to ask the staff. There may not be many staff members who can speak Japanese fluently💦 After choosing the product, the customization begins! Choose your favorite patch, decide where to place it, tape it down, and you're done✨ When you tell the staff that you're done, you will be guided to the cashier (tax-free)! Nike World Headquarters Beaverton, Oregon has been chosen as one of the "most livable cities." It is also known for being home to Nike's huge headquarters campus. The public can enter the premises. It's easy to get to because the metro runs from Portland. It's not far from the station. On campus, you can see Nike's history in the free museum, and experience what it's like to be a Nike employee in the cafe and bar. Getting to Beijing’s Universal Studios is really easy and convenient. You can do so by either Didi or subway. I would definitely suggest for anyone to go in the week, over the weekend and no doubt avoid going on any holiday. You’ll easily wait around 1 hour getting through security. Attractions at the park wasn’t at the same level to that of the one in America, yet for the most part I really enjoyed this outing. When I went everything was still in good working condition and looked new. the staff was super friendly and surprisingly most spoke somewhat English. Make the time to watch the big water show, it was really entertaining! I do suggest that you eat at the restaurant just after you go through security, before entering the park. Those restaurants are far better than the ones inside. You’ll find good food and drinks, obviously pricey but hey ‘When in Rome..’ right. I saw a hotel/ a place where you can stay located just outside of the entrance. I would guess there is some sort of deal you can get going to the park when staying there. Not sure what the price and quality is because I live in the Jing and this was a day trip for us. As usual you can find many small stores to do some shopping throughout the whole park. I went to NIKE in Myeongdong because I heard you can make your own customization! You can freely customize your T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, and eco-bags with your own original patches, but there was already a long line at 10:10, 20 minutes before opening... I was able to get my numbered ticket at around 10:50! I came to the Myeongdong store because I wanted to add a Hangul patch, but the sweatshirts, eco-bags, and Hangul patch were already sold out. It seems that there are few varieties, but it seems that you can also do it in Hongdae and Gangnam, so I don't think you need to stick to Myeongdong... I chose the time between 16:00 and 16:30 and came back at this time to customize it! One cap is 29,000 won and each patch is 4,000 won! It seems that you can receive it by closing time, so after making it, I left Myeongdong to go for dinner and returned around 21:00! They brought it to me right away when I showed them my receipt. I got the smallest shopping bag for 2000 won, but it was pretty sturdy and cute, so I'm glad I bought it♪ I'm happy with the cute cap I made!
