Best decision ever to stay at Westin Kuala Lumpur. Service is impeccable and the doorman greets you each time you enter and exit the hotel. Westin Kuala Lumpur is located at Bukit Bintang just opposite of Pavilion Shopping Centre. A convenient location which gets you to Farenheit, Lot 10 shopping mall. Staying in Fullerton Hotel for my birthday celebration was a luxury experience. Other than the gorgeous view from the balcony, I was surprised with a birthday cake and a personal note, which was a lovely touch. I was eager to soak myself in the spacious bathtub, but first, food! Took a stroll over to Marina Bay Sands and dined at Bread Street Kitchen - one of my favourite restaurants because of their bread basket (no longer complimentary, alas). As we returned to explore the hotel a little more, we stumbled upon a stairway leading us to a hidden balcony, where we had the direct view of the magnificent Marina Bay Sands with a Super Moon peeking out to say hi! What a night. 😍 We took a trip down memory lane in a small gallery within the hotel, filled with nostalgic black and white photographs and videos describing its glorious history - including the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s infamous speech held right in front of the hotel. There was this colouring event when we went mid august to ikea tebrau and we sat a while to color with the toddler to try out their crayons, markers and color pencils which are of relatively good quality. Accompanied by cheap food, we noticed that the same snacks (muffin, cinnamon roll etc) were sold at a higher price on level 1 ikea cafe. Staycation at Momentus Hotel Alexandra I recently went for a short staycation at Momentus Hotel Alexandra. When I arrived there, there was a short queue before being able to check in. However, I was greeted by the front desk when it was my turn and they kindly gave me an early check-in, upon checking that there was room availability. I requested for a late checkout for the next day but was unsuccessful due to it being a Saturday and their rooms were fully booked. But to make it up to us, we were given until 12pm to checkout the next day, which was better than nothing. There were pros and cons I felt while staying in the hotel. For pros: The location to IKEA, Anchorpoint and Alexandra Village Food Centre are all within walking distance. In addition, I was given a high floor with a decent view. They had all the amenities available, including unlimited filtered water as well. The pool and gymnasium were really beautiful especially at night. It had a nice rain shower along with the normal shower head. For cons: The location is quite a distance away from the nearest MRT station which is Queenstown. In addition, I found out that the air-condition was motion censored, this led to the aircon turning off on its own if it detected that there was no movement in the room. Hence, sometimes during the night, I would wake up feeling a little stuffy as the air condition would’ve turned off on its own. There was also no bidet available which made it a little inconvenient if you were doing your big business in the toilet. Overall, the stay was really pleasant and nice, I really enjoyed myself there. I would definitely recommend others to stay here as well, especially perfect for a short staycation. Had a couples staycay at adults only hotel, Outpost Sentosa. Had a pool view room, nice view. Were given the 5 complimentary minibar items. Really enjoyed the iced chocolate drink. Bathroom was really spacious, loved the amenities and also the toilet with a special bidet. Were also given complimentary tea & coffee in the room. Room was abit small but cosy. Would have been nice to get a complimentary cake for our anniversary but overall very good stay. Would come back again but choose the sea view next time :)#staycay #anniversary #luxurylife

If you’re looking for a weekend getaway without the hassle of going into JB - Sentosa is a great option! Been looking forward to this staycay since forever 😍 The Outpost hotel is known for being a modern hotel perfect for couples as it’s in a private location in Sentosa. There is also plenty of food and activities in the area so at no point did I feel like returning to the mainland haha. Upon arriving we were given a welcome drink in these cute pineapples as well as a bunch of snacks and their house-made soy wines to choose from - all complimentary! We of course made use of the very aesthetic pool which makes for great pictures✨ The room albeit on the smaller side was clean and had warm lighting. Swissotel the Stamford Address - 2 Stamford Road Ambiance/Facilities - Highlights - amazing service, amazing room, amazing view Avg. Price per Person - 150+ Rating - 5/5 Swissotel is actually the tallest hotel in Singapore! We stayed at the 46th floor and was treated to great city views. The room is very spacious. The long corridor might seem like a waste of space but it is exactly great for soundproofing. There was absolutely no disturbance from our neighbours at all. Every space and furniture was also well thought out and planned. The bathroom might seem a tad small compared to other hotels but i totally dont mind. Pools were shared with Fairmont hotel. It wasnt crowded at all when we visited after breakfast. This hotel is also very convenient as it is directly linked to Raffles City and City Hall mrt. Which means you have access to marina square and suntec. No worries about rainy weather. Service was great too. Andik helped us check in and accommodated our request for high floor. Even sent a delicious cake to our room. Thank you Andik and Swissotel for a wonderful stay! We would love to be back! #staycay #muststay

We could have had a better stay if the corridor along the rooms had been clean and smelling fresh. The corridors were filled with a strong odor. Upon talking to the service counter, they advised at least spraying air freshener, did this work? There are a few things I like about staying at V Hotel Lavender! Great customer service from Justin as he observed that my family and I came in early thus gave a free room upgrade from our current stay, Thank you💐 Location of hotel : 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this hotel is near to MRT which easily you can travel down to Bugis or even anywhere near the East line; no worries about rain or shine Amenities of hotel: 2.5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️ The bedsheet have some stains on it even before we entered the room. Some stains on the chair. Kindly maintain the shower hose as there was a strong pungent smell even before we use the shower. Kindly look into maintenance of the basic hygiene for the customers. Booked for a 3D2N stay, and checked in at about 3:30pm. So, apparently, they do have a separate check in desk for suite guests. As I have arrived earlier, the guest officer who welcomed me into the hotel was very friendly and helpful. He also informed me of the complimentary water Zumba and Yoga classes which I could sign up for if I am interested. Pool is not too kids friendly though. It’s 1.3m deep, other than the deck chair area. Upon checking in, as I have a toddler, and she was crawling on the carpet. I noticed a small chip of chocolate on the carpet, immediately, I called the room service and informed them. Within 5 minutes, a lady came with a vacuum cleaner and started cleaning up. I love the electronic day and night blinds. It gets opened / closed with a button. After a night, I noticed the air conditioner seems to be rather weird. I adjusted to 24, it got really cold, and when I changed to 25 it became abit warm. I informed the counter the following day and was advised they will check - not too sure if this is done though, as there was not update and the same problem still stayed on. Mary at Bedrock Origin is super! She is very friendly and attentive. Her service during our 2 breakfast experience was great! Overall, pleasant stay, but I guess there can be more to be done with regards to the cleanliness and functions within the room. #staycay #oasiasentosa

It is always fun, spooky and interesting when hotels start to decorate for Halloween or when they offer halloween theme stays. One of these hotels is Hotel Equarius at Sentosa. We managed to get a room during their halloween scary sleepover. Although their lobbies were well decorated with halloween stuff, it wasnt as scary as expected. Rooms were also not decoarted with any halloween theme, just the lobbies. Perhaps, the hotel didnt want to scare the faint hearted. Even though the hotel wasnt as scarily decoarted, we still had a spectacular time during our staycay. Room was huge and spacious with a great view of sentosa. Their swimming pool was awesome and my kids definitely enjoyed their dip. You can see the cable cars above you while swimming. Had a staycay in the very conveniently located Parkroyal at Beach Road to celebrate a birthday. The pool had such a nice view of the flyer, many cafes and eateries conveniently located at the Lavender area, and close to East Coast Park! Ginger restaurant even prepared a delicious chocolate cake for the birthday celebration 🍫🍰 The room was really spacious and the facilities were more than satisfactory. Hotel breakfast at Ginger at Parkroyal on Beach Road Address - 7500 Beach Road Rating - 4/5 We were surprised that the breakfast was actually pretty good! Better than other similar range hotels like carlton city, grand park city hall. First off the selection was pretty good. There is abit of everything. And most of the food tasted above average. We especially enjoyed the lotus rice, tater tots, carrot cake! Their prata, otah, curry chicken and nasi lemak were especially good too! Beverage wise there was juices and coffee machine. I dont remember seeing tea though. Peak hour is 9 to 10am, so do go earlier to avoid queuing. #singapore #staycation #staycay

Good midpriced hotel that is near to city Likes - merged 2 single beds so bed was big and comfortable - space n storage well utilised - great water pressure in shower - cold aircon - convenient to get to city hall by bus, walk to bugis and haji lane - filtered drinking water - breakfast! Dislikes - Bathroom slightly small - No lotion - conditioner and shampoo combined - can hear people walking past - tv with decent channels but nothing else - neighbour was noisy at 11+pm, called reception but nobody picked up for 5min.
