Such a lovely cafe! The pastries and coffee are both delicious. We stopped by here quickly lunch time on a Friday and it was easy getting a table. Food wise, we ordered a cardamom bun, pain au chocolate and sourdough roll with cheese and cucumber. We got a hot choc and flat white for drinks. While the cardamom bun wasn't to my taste (a bit too sweet and a little soggy) and the hot choc a little too milky, the pain au choc and sourdough roll were absolutely outstanding #hollandtrip#localfood #pastries

Large spacious cafe and casual restaurant. Very nice bun and some good hot chocolate. A very nice European type of cafe to meet with friends. Sometimes it doesn't feel like you are in australia. It has a really interesting system where you are given a device that flashes when you order is ready. I think the pastries are really amazing. I wish more cafes would have these breads and pastries. We visited them several times. They have a huge variety of breads and pastries available. This goes beyond local and dutch varieties. Almost feels like a store in some other European country. Having said so there some good local pastries too, good coffee, friendly service. Each time we visited we tried something different to eat and one of their single origin offerings as well. The coffee is spectacular. It can't go wrong. But the food impressed is very too. An excellent cosy spot for coffee and cinnamon buns. Other than dutch varieties they also have some Scandinavian breads and pastries. Their noteworthy cinnamon buns, served warm, have a delicious flavour and texture ideal for the cold. The place is small and usually very busy, but the guests rotated quite quickly so there was not much waiting time. We had cakes - delicious, double espresso and hot chocolate... and loved everything, the ambient and vibe of the place is very unique and one feels good there. Amazing pastry and very delicious sandwiches. A lot of students here, and the place is usually very busy, but has a nice atmosphere. Also loved the atmosphere and the interior design, felt like I was in a movie scene. The cinnamon bun was juicy and fluffy and the toast was heavy. Prices a little higher but the quality is very good. Free refill for the coffee with breakfast sets. First of all, it's in the total center of the city, but on a side road that's usually not super crowded. Great coffee, but even better almond croissant. Quite possibly the best pastry we had during our netherlands trip. It is attached to the library so that is probably the best place to access it from. Seriously, the pastry is just absolutely delicious. The coffee is also prepared well. The staff are kind and helpful.
