Family run business with good and friendly service. We had dinner here and came back the next day, unfortunately we only discovered this place last night, Otherwise we would have come here to try more of the delicious food. We tried a lot of smoothie bowls around the world. But the smoothie bowls at BUMBU OMA BALI were the best so far. Also the mie & nasi goreng taste are just as good as the bowls. With so many over rated places and touristy restaurants in bali. This little gem with its limited menu and beautiful preparations continues to charge more reasonably. It's located in a quiet green alley. It feels nice to be here and never seemed too crowded. I spent an afternoon there talking to a friend and we loved the atmosphere. The food is fresh and beautifully done. We shared a drang fruit smoothie bowl and some avocado and poached eggs. It was delicious. They are nice people and with good pricing I think such a place should be supported. Do try their smoothie bowl. Woodstock Rawai Woodstock Rawai With the shady garden, contrasting with the dark brown of the wooden lattice and comfortable tables and chairs facing the small lawn, it feels like a garden next door. Before you know it, you are sitting in the restaurant. This place focuses on Japanese and Korean twisted dishes. There are many dishes that you have never eaten anywhere before. The taste of the food is extraordinary. The shop opens from 12.00 - 22.00. Closed on Mondays. I recommend going in the morning. Good food and cool weather to start the day well. Or if you are convenient to go from noon to evening, it is another kind of cool. Chiang Mai, Thailand🇹🇭 Itinerary: • Woke up to sleeper train & put bags in hostel • Went for breakfast at Sunday Bakery • Visited Wat Chedi Luang Temple • Shopped around Chiang Mai • Had lunch at Gravity Cafe • Went to visit the silver temple • Had a beer • Went to Chiang Mai Saturday Night Market We woke up at 5am, on the turbulent sleeper train, to the sunrise in Chiang Mai. It was an experience that I am so grateful for. We headed to the hostel and woowww, this hostel is so serene and beautiful - it truly lives up to its name:( @hiddengardenhostel ). Our favourite adventures so far are the temples. Wat Chedi Luang was an incredible sight, originally beginning construction in the 14th century, the temple resembles ancient ruins. We were shocked at how many good shops there were around Chiang Mai- lots being very modern, selling beautiful handmade items. We visited the completely silver covered temple & then sat and had a Chang Classic beer, as we people watched at a local bar. 📍Canggu, Bali Our first stop in Bali was Canggu. Now, Canggu doesn’t have the best reputation - there is pretty much nothing to do, besides shop in expensive stores, go to expensive restaurants/cafes & watch extremely attractive Australians on the beaches😂 However, I’m not mad about it. The locals here are absolutely some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our travels - so welcoming, so smiley & (as someone who can be quite skeptical of overly friendly people) it actually felt so genuine. We've been wanting to go to this shop for a long time. Finally, we got to eat here. This shop is a smoothie bowl shop located on Charoen Prathet Road. It's very delicious, everyone. There are bowl menus, yogurt, fruit drinks. Today, we ordered something refreshing and new to try. It didn't disappoint us at all. We ordered Kiwi + Banana + Matcha, topped with 2 fruits and 2 nuts: apple, nuts, berries, and chia seeds. I must say it's very worthwhile. Plus, the owner is lovely and very welcoming.
