Barcelona must-see: Casa Batlló
It’s no exaggeration to say that I fell in love with Gaudi the moment I arrived in Barcelona. Today I would like to introduce one of Gaudí’s classic masterpieces, Casa Batlló. This building is not only a classic of modernist architecture, but is also known as a "work of art in the architectural world."
The design of Casa Batlló was inspired by the story of a knight saving a princess. The exterior walls are dominated by wavy curves, while the dragon-ridge curve of the roof is covered with colorful mosaic tiles, like a shimmering scale. Walking into the building, the ocean-themed design is even more amazing! The central patio's gradient color from dark blue to light blue perfectly imitates the changes in the depth of the ocean, making people feel as if they are in the water. The window glass has been specially processed to create a distorted visual effect, as if you are looking at the world through the water. It’s really amazing!
The whole house is designed with soft curves and natural light as the core. Every corner makes people feel Gaudi's love for nature and attention to details. Whether it is the changes in light and shadow or the exquisiteness of each small decoration, it is really worth it.
It is strongly recommended that you visit Casa Batlló when you come to Barcelona, and be sure to rent a guide device to gain a deeper understanding of the ingenuity and stories behind all of Gaudí's designs. I believe you will fall in love with this soulful building just like me!
✅ Casa Batlló
📍 Address: Passeig de Gràcia, 43, 08007 Barcelona, Spain
⏰ Opening hours: 09:00 to 22:00 daily (last admission at 21:00)
💳 Ticket price: Adult ticket is about 35 euros. It is recommended to book online in advance to avoid queuing.
🚇 Transportation: Take Metro Line L2, L3 or L4 to Passeig de Gràcia Station and walk to the destination.

Barcelona Cathedral dates back to the 13th century and is one one of the city’s oldest and most historic buildings. With its infamous Neo-Gothic style and intricate stone carvings, it’s hard to miss and is definitely a must see on your visit to the city.
The roof is accessible with a pre-booked ticket online. Since it is one of the tallest buildings in the Gothic Quarter, there are wonderful 360° views of the area.

Hilton Barcelona
I had a great stay at Hilton Barcelona! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with professionalism and kindness.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel's decoration was beautiful and stylish. Additionally, the hotel has a large gym with high-quality equipment.
One of the highlights of staying at Hilton was its excellent location in the heart of the city, making it convenient for exploring the surroundings. There are shopping malls, restaurants, and convenience stores close to the hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for business trips or travelers seeking a quiet and nice experience.

An excellent and fun morning at Park Güell
Park Güell is a private park located in Barcelona near La said and El Coll neighborhoods. If you are staying in Barceloneta or Barcelona Center, I will suggest you to get the metro L3 and get off and the Lesseps or Vallarta stops, which is 20 mins walking to the Park. Unfortunately, you do have to pay do get in the park. The cost of the ticket is 10 euro and it will cost extra to visit Gaudi house located in the park. I have researched a little bit and I saw that there are some ways to get into the park for FREE, however, since I was there for short time and it was a last minute plan I didn’t have time to sign up for a free entrance! If you’re curious to know how to get there please contact me!
TIPS: wear comfortable shoes, bring some cash(there are many vendors selling cute items), and carry a hat!

An afternoon in Barcelona
A must when you came to Barcelona would be to see the city from above, a perfect place to do so is the so called Bunkers el Carmel. (1st & 3rd photo). You can get up close by bus and then you have to walk up to the top.
The views of Barcelona are amazing ✨.
The second photo shows the Barcelona Cathedral from a rooftop that is in front of it. There are several rooftops to drink or eat something near there.

We visited 𝗠𝗡𝗔𝗖 (Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña) on the side hill of Montjuic mountain
The visit was a fantastic occasion to enjoy time with Marc’s family, parents, uncle, aunt, cousins…and be guided by his uncle - an artist in Barcelona - through the exhibitions inside the museum
Can’t express the beauty of this area, big esplanades, fountains, majestic staircases and an architectural jewel from beginning of the 20th century

Antoni Gaudi Masterpiece
Antoni Gaudí was Barcelona's most famous architect, and he created three houses, one of which is Casa Batlló in 1877.
Casa Batlló is considered one of Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces. It was remodeled of a previously built house, redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí, and refurbished several times.
Located in the prime center of Barcelona, in the heart shopping district neighboring Dior, LV, Gucci, Rolex, and many more. The building had a basement, ground floor and four other floors with a garden in the back on the second floor. Dont miss the light show in the nighttime; it will transform the building into magical looks.
Casa Batllo is open to the public for visits with a ticket fee, and you can purchase the ticket at the counter or buy it online. Dont worry if you dont understand Spanish language, during in-house tour, headset in several other laguages is available for free.
Adress: Pg. de Gràcia, 43, 08007 Barcelona.

Let's go to the Mountain
I always adore mountain and sea, loving nature and adventure like hiking. Barcelona is famous for football, but people seldom notice of it's nature side.
De-Montserrat is super high mountain located at Spain. You can reach it by train. It's better to come during sunny days even though it may be hot.
Explore the area and take one day to adore the building and nature around. View from top is amazing. It's cold but not like winter. Would be perfect if you have friends to tag along with.
I tag my local friend to accompany me in this trip. It's good if you have someone who can speak spanish.

A church that has been under construction for over 100 years and is still unfinished - one of the 100 reasons to love Barcelona
I believe everyone who has been to Barcelona will fall in love with this place
This beautiful city has many stunningly beautiful buildings
Most buildings were designed by a man known as the "Architect of God".
Designed by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí
Including the Sagrada Familia church, which was built in 1882.
-Sagrada Familia
It is the only building in the world that was listed as a World Heritage Site before it was completed.
It is expected that the Sagrada Familia will finally be completed in 2026
We spent half a day visiting this church.
This is full of unique designs and rich colors

Barcelona T2 - small and convenient
whenever I get a choice, I will opt to travel from terminal 2. in comparison to the much larger T1, it's much more manageable, less traffic, easier parking, and overall much less crowded. Especially T2C which is dedicated to EasyJet, travelling from there is a breeze, no long queues, quick security and then you are immediately at the gate. in 3 minutes I am at the gate and though security.#barcelonatravel

✍️ My Review
Hotel Majestic Barcelona is one of my favourite hotels in Spain and the location is perfect. A lot of luxury brands near the hotel.
The hotel design is very elegant and cosy. The staff is also nice and friendly, providing almost all the food, drinks and necessary items.
The hand wash and hand lotions smell good! In addition, the breakfast is awesome with ham, eggs, cheese and fresh fruits.
Enjoy the view of Barcelona when you go to the terrace of the hotel!
