The spring in Faxi Pagoda
The spring near Faxi Pagoda is a beautiful and peaceful feature that adds to the serenity of the area. Faxi Pagoda, located in the Jiangsu Province of China, is one of the oldest and most revered pagodas in the region. The spring itself is often associated with the cultural and historical significance of the pagoda and the surrounding temple complex.
In Chinese culture, springs near temples or pagodas are often considered sacred, as they symbolize purity, life, and the flow of wisdom. The spring near Faxi Pagoda could be part of this cultural symbolism, representing the natural beauty and harmony between nature and the architectural marvel of the pagoda.#spring

Seoul’s Secret Spring Kingdom – Castle & Blossoms
I visited Lotte World in Jamsil during spring, and it felt like a fairytale. The pink cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and behind them stood the beautiful castle from the theme park. It was the perfect mix of nature and magic.
The soft petals in the air, the bright blue sky, and the fairytale castle made every photo look like a dream. It was hard to believe this peaceful and beautiful place is right in the middle of the city.
Many people were walking around, smiling, and taking pictures. The cherry trees made everything look more romantic and special. The view was even more amazing when the wind made the petals fall gently to the ground.
Spring doesn’t last long, but moments like this stay in my heart forever. If you ever visit Seoul in spring, don’t miss the cherry blossoms at Lotte World in Jamsil. It’s a magical place where flowers and fairytales meet.

Where I Ate in Osaka!
Way too much good food and top of the line Kobe beef! 🇯🇵
We visited some of the best restaurants in Osaka that allow kids (and primarily serve meat as I don’t eat fish & seafood)
Before we went, reservations were such a pain and we kept getting rejected - not sure if it was because of the kid, coz I didn’t eat fish or coz we were quite last minute!
I must have gained 2kg after the trip 🤣 Plus the endless snacking of Family Mart, Lawson & 7 Eleven goodies ♥️

Tokyo Spring Moments
📍Address:Tokyo, Naka Meguro
I’ve been to Japan several times, and Tokyo has always been my favorite destination. This spring, I finally had the chance to visit the famous Naka-Meguro during the cherry blossom full bloom. I guess I was both lucky and a bit unlucky at the same time.
The lucky part was that there were very few tourists during my visit, which made the experience feel peaceful, so much so that I even started to wonder if I was in the right place. But once I stood in front of the iconic Starbucks Reserve, I knew I was exactly where I needed to be. The sakura view was breathtaking, especially at night. The atmosphere felt incredibly romantic and warm despite the light rain.
However, the temperature caught us off guard, it was around 9°C, colder than we had expected for spring. We were dressed in lighter spring clothing and didn’t anticipate the chill. To make things worse, all the warming pads in nearby convenience stores were sold out. We were freezing!
Still, I consider myself very lucky on this trip. Witnessing the full bloom of cherry blossoms everywhere in Tokyo left a deep and lasting impression on me. It was truly one of the most beautiful sights and memories I’ll cherish forever.

Pink Petals & Ancient Stones: Cherry Blossoms at Zhou Wangcheng Square
#cherryblossom25 #sakura🌸 #discoverchina #spring
The cherry blossoms at Zhou Wangcheng Square don’t just bloom—they whisper history. Nestled in the heart of Luoyang, this expansive plaza sits atop the ruins of an ancient royal city, where the pink sakura trees stand in delicate contrast to the weathered stone relics of China’s Zhou Dynasty.
I arrived at dawn, when the square was still quiet, and found the trees bathed in golden light. Their petals drifted onto the engraved stone pathways, as if the past itself were dusted with spring. Nearby, a group of elderly tai chi practitioners moved in slow unison beneath the blossoms, their white robes fluttering like petals in the breeze.
Why This Spot Stands Out? Historical Backdrop: The square’s ancient ruins add gravitas to the fleeting beauty of the blossoms.

Spring in Seoul
#cityplaybook Spring in South Korea, Typically starting from early March to May, the weather begins to warm up and flowers start to bloom—especially the “beotkkot”, or Korean cherry blossoms, which paint the city pink. More people come out to enjoy the outdoors.
This is my favorite time of year because the weather is just right—not too cold and not too hot. It’s also the perfect season for dressing up in stylish layers, which (maybe?) makes you look even better! 😝

One Day in Pudacuo: Into the Heart of a Highland Dream
#springitinerary #discoverchina #spring #must-visit
I came for the views, but stayed for the stillness that stirred something ancient in me.
In a single spring day, Pudacuo unfolds like a forgotten fairytale. Arriving early, I hiked the wooden paths around Shudu Lake, each step cushioned by the soft chorus of morning dew and distant hooves. Clouds draped over distant peaks like silk, casting shadows that danced on the grassland. I lunched on yak meat and tsampa at a Tibetan-style eco-village, then drifted towards Bita Lake—its turquoise waters a breath of calm against my city-worn soul. Sunset brought golden fire to the trees, and the scent of pine followed me all the way back to the entrance. I didn’t cover every trail. I didn’t need to. Pudacuo is the kind of place where even an hour lingers in your mind like incense—slow, sacred, unforgettable.
The Forgotten Sakura Path: Enōji Temple’s Secret Canopy
#cherryblossom25 #kyushutrip #japan #spring #travel
There are places where cherry blossoms bloom in silence—no tour groups, no Instagram crowds, just the soft crunch of petals underfoot and the occasional chime of a distant temple bell. Enōji Temple’s approach is one of those rare sanctuaries.
A 300-meter stone path, flanked by towering ‘somei yoshino’ cherry trees, leads to the quiet grounds of Enōji Temple. Unlike the famous (and packed) sakura spots, this hidden walkway feels like stepping into an old woodblock print—timeless and untouched. When I visited, the only company I had were elderly locals making their morning prayers and a lone cat napping on a sun-warmed step, its fur dusted pink.
How to Experience It Best:
- Arrive at sunrise (6:00–7:30 AM) for the most ethereal light.
- Walk slowly—the path is short, but the atmosphere begs for lingering.
- Stop at the tiny teahouse near the temple gates for matcha and sakura mochi, served on a wooden tray that catches falling petals.
This isn’t just a place to ‘see’ cherry blossoms—it’s a place to ‘breathe’ them.
Petals & Pedals: The Secret Sakura Cycle Path Along Tafuse River
#cherryblossom25 #kyushutrip #japan #spring
The best way to experience Tafuse River’s cherry blossoms isn’t on foot—it’s on two wheels. A hidden cycling path runs parallel to Tafusegawa-dori, where overhanging sakura branches form a natural tunnel so thick with blooms that riders emerge coated in pink confetti. Local cyclists know to come at magic hour (6:30-7:00 AM), when the morning mist rises off the river and the JR Nagasaki Line trains rumble past, their windows flashing through the floral curtain like a flipbook of spring.
Stop at the unmanned "Sakura Juice Stand" where a retired farmer leaves chilled bottles of homemade ume-blossom tea in a cooler. The path’s sweetest surprise? A tiny red bridge near the railway crossing where petals collect in heart-shaped eddies—Saga’s answer to Paris’ Pont des Arts.

Floral Gateway to the Sea: Sakura Avenue’s Grand Welcome
#cherryblossom25 #spring #kyushutrip #japan
The bus doors hissed open at Marina World Uminonakamichi, releasing me into a pastel dreamscape. Before even reaching the park’s official entrance, the 800-meter Sakura Avenue announced itself—a grand promenade where two hundred cherry trees stood at attention, their branches interlacing overhead to form a tunnel of blossoms so dense it filtered the sunlight into pink stained glass.
This wasn’t just a path, but a ceremonial procession toward the sea. Each step crunched on fallen petals that blanketed the walkway like fresh snow, their scent mingling with salty breezes from Hakata Bay. Cyclists pedaled slowly through the floral haze, their baskets filled with picnic supplies from the marina’s morning market.
Pro Tip: Arrive via Nishitetsu Bus no.21 (alight at Marina World stop) before 9 AM to have the avenue to yourself !
Hanfu Among the Blossoms: When Tradition Meets Transient Beauty
#cherryblossom25 #zhengzhou #spring #discoverchina
The swish of silk against pavement announced their arrival - hanfu enthusiasts transforming Bishagang Park's cherry blossom season into a living painting. As flowing sleeves brushed low-hanging branches, releasing showers of pink petals, I witnessed Zhengzhou's youth reimagining tradition beneath the sakura boughs.
Photographers darted between trees, capturing girls in pastel robes posing with paper umbrellas, their outfits carefully color-coordinated with the blossoms. Nearby, a group practiced traditional fan dances, their movements stirring the petal-laden air into pink whirlwinds. The most enchanting moment came when three generations of one family posed together - grandmother in qipao, mother in modern dress, and daughter in elaborate hanfu, all united beneath the timeless cherry blossoms.
As day faded to dusk, the golden hour light set both silk and petals aglow, creating scenes so perfect they looked staged. Yet this was no performance - just ordinary people finding extraordinary connections to their heritage through nature's brief spring spectacle.
Petals and Postcards: A Stroll Beneath Fukuoka’s Cherry Blossom Canopy
#cherryblossom25 #spring #fukuoka #kyushutrip
The wind carried a thousand soft whispers as I stepped out of Ohori Station. Ahead, the path toward Den Shiomi-Yagura Turret bloomed like a watercolor come to life. ‘Shimonohashi’, flanked by rows of sakura trees in full bloom, became my corridor of calm. Pink petals swayed above like silk curtains, some brushing my shoulders as they fell. Couples strolled hand in hand, old friends shared laughter on shaded benches, and I, a quiet observer, moved through this floral tunnel in awe. Every few steps, I paused—not to photograph, but to appreciate the moment. Cherry blossoms remind you that beauty, like time, drifts. You don’t capture it—you walk with it.
Getting there: Take the Fukuoka City Subway to Ohori Park Station (Exit 3).
Blossoms & Blessings: The Sacred Sakura Path of Shikaumi Shrine
#cherryblossom25 #kyushutrip #spring #shrinevisit
The ferry from Hakata Pier deposited me onto Shikaumi Island's shores just as dawn gilded the cherry blossoms lining the approach to Japan's most ancient maritime shrine. Along the 877-meter sakura-lined path (marked by weathered stone lanterns from the Edo period), each step forward through the petal snow brought deeper connection to the island's sacred energy - where Shinto kami have mingled with salt spray and flowering trees for over 1,600 years.
The real magic begins at the triple torii gate, where the climbing stone staircase transforms into a tunnel of weeping shidarezakura. Their cascading branches form a living noren curtain that parts to reveal glimpses of Hakata Bay's sparkling waters below. Midway up, the "Kami-no-Ike" sacred pond mirrors the blossoms so perfectly that petals seem to float both upward and downward simultaneously.
Practical Mysticism:
- Access: Nishitetsu Bus #21 from Hakozaki Station (25 mins) or seasonal ferry from Hakata Pier (40 mins)

Riverside Reverie: A Sakura Stroll Through Fukuoka's Urban Oasis
#cherryblossom25 #japan #kyushutrip #spring
The cherry blossoms along the Naka River's banks whispered promises of spring as I began my walk from Tenjin Central Park - where pink petals floated onto businessmen's briefcases - toward the colorful tapestry of Ohori Park. This 1.2km riverside promenade (accessible via Exit 7 of Tenjin Station) transforms in April into a living gallery: sakura arches reflected in the water, punctuated by bursts of yellow nanohana and purple shibazakura ground cover. Smart tip: arrive at 7 AM when joggers have the path to themselves and the morning light turns the petals translucent. By afternoon, the riverside teahouses (look for the traditional kawadoko decks) serve sakura sencha with views of petal-strewn currents - perfect for watching the Nishitetsu boats glide by.
Chasing Cherry Blossoms: A Spring to Remember in Korea (2025)
#aprilblooms
🌸 Spring in Korea this year felt like a soft, fleeting dream. The cherry blossoms didn’t wait—they bloomed quickly, beautifully, and vanished just as fast. I couldn’t stay still. To truly experience them, I had to move. So I did—every day, a new destination, a new chance to catch their peak before the petals fell.
☀️ From Seoul’s Yeouido Park to the dreamy tunnels of cherry trees in Jinhae, I found myself constantly in motion, chasing what felt like a vanishing moment. The weather shifted often—sunny and bright one day, windy or cloudy the next—but the blossoms made everything feel gentle.
🥀 Some days, I arrived just in time. The trees were in full bloom, petals floating down like snow. Other times, I was late—the ground already blanketed in soft pink, the branches nearly bare. But even then, there was something beautiful about it. This is a reminder that beauty doesn’t last forever, and that’s what makes it precious.
🌳 Now that the season has passed, I realize it wasn’t just about the cherry blossoms. It was about the journey. The effort, the movement, the longing to hold onto something fleeting. I’ll remember the colours and the peaceful walks alone surrounded by pink.
🩷 Spring 2025 gave me more than photos—it gave me memories stitched together by soft petals, quiet mornings, and the joy of not knowing what I’d find until I got there.

If you're wondering where to witness this beautiful flower in Shanghai, go ahead to Gucun Park. This park is huge and filled with not only sakura flower, but also many other beautiful flowers. There's also a mini theme park and a huge ferris wheel inside which make it suitable for family outing, especially with kids.
