Matsushima - accessible by subway from Sendai, takes around 40 mins - eat 🦪 by the sea, explore the islands connected by bridge by foot, or take a boat to see the wider area. Walk further along the coast away from the main area to find quieter scenic spots like this one! 2. Yamadera, Yamagata - accessible by train from Sendai, around 60 mins. - the hike to the temple takes around an hour, and is well-maintained steps the entire way, with plenty to look at along the way - recommend the small restaurant by the station after the hike (note that it closes at 2 or 3!), our meals were delicious! 3. I recently travelled to Japan for 3 weeks on Language Exchange!! Here are some of the beautiful scenery in Osaka and Kyoto 🫶 When I arrived I remember thinking 'Japan is 90% wires' , I have some pics to prove it! I stayed in the beautiful region of Shiga Ken where I got to experience daily Japanese life with my amazing and caring host family! They took me to all the local spots for food and I was able to do activities I might not have got to if I was a tourist! I truly recommend an experience like this if you learn ANY language, not just Japanese!! Javakheti is located at Southern Georgia, which most of the tourist wouldn’t visit, but it’s totally underrated and worth your time there. It’s better to rent a 4x4 vehicle to visit there, spent at least three days there, exploring the lesser Caucasian mountains and lakes over there. During our days there, we mostly driving off road, with no one passing by, it’s just the beautiful landscape and us. You may need to queue if you want to have your photo taken there. We were satisfied with all the foods ordered. They were all delicious. We got value for our money. Food presentation is also very nice - worthy of posting in social media ;) We recommend their Truffle Steak Fries, Pineapple-glazed Pork Ribs and desserts. The time we were there, it wasn’t too crowded later in the night so we enjoyed spending time, catching up over dessert & coffee 😊 The restaurant also allowed our friend to bring us a birthday cake (without charging corkage fee) because they don’t have cakes on their menu. Zhangjiajie is a huge park in Hunan renowned for its bizarre pillar-like mountains. Said to have inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountains in the film Avatar, the peaks of Zhangjiajie, although they don't fly, are even more incredible for being real. The 'floating mountain' effect can be seen when it's foggy and only the peaks rise above the clouds. It was hot and sunny when I was there, so I didn't see this view, but it was beautiful all the same. Some areas, around infrastructure like the glass elevator, the cable car, and so on, can be very crowded, but there is also an impressive network of trails and it's possible to do some good hiking whilst avoiding both the crowds and modern development. I recently visited #Bhutan, exploring the beautiful towns of Paro and Thimphu, and it was an unforgettable experience. The country is incredibly peaceful, clean, and full of natural beauty. Paro is stunning, with green valleys, traditional Bhutanese architecture, and a serene atmosphere. The highlight was the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang) – a sacred site perched dramatically on a cliff as challenging, the views and spiritual energy made it worthwhile. I also visited the Paro Dzong and National Museum, which gave a great insight into Bhutanese culture and history. Thimphu, the capital, offers a mix of tradition and modern life. The massive Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the city is breathtaking, and the Tashichho Dzong is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. I also enjoyed the Folk Heritage Museum and local craft shops. What stood out most was the warmth of the Bhutanese people and their strong connection to culture and nature. Bhutan’s philosophy of Gross National Happiness is felt everywhere. If you're looking for a unique, peaceful destination filled with culture and nature, Bhutan – especially Paro and Thimphu – should be on your list. #celebratewithtrip Tsuen Wan Park is opposite the west MTR station. It's a beautiful park by the sports centre. A very beautiful, relaxing and welcoming environment for all age groups. I visited the park at noon after touring nearby city-walk mall and nina malls. I was so tired and needed a place to catch a breath, then I found this beautiful place, the garden, the landscape, the scenery indulged my eyes and helped me relax as I was admiring the beautiful flowers. Apart from a beautiful scenery, the park is designed to facilitate exercise activity for both the young and old.
