A Superb Bangkok Hotel: A "Kerry Hill Alternative" That Delivers! ✨🏨
#summervacay
This Bangkok hotel is genuinely impressive and truly embodies the signature style of Kerry Hill, a master architect often associated with Aman resorts! It features all the hallmarks of his design: beautiful symmetry, elegant minimalism, extensive use of white walls and geometric forms, and a masterful introduction of natural light.
The gardens and pools are definite highlights, offering stunning, serene spaces. While the guest rooms are perhaps a little less distinctive, a delightful surprise awaits in the bathroom: they stock my favorite Thai local fragrance brand, PANPURI!
Beyond the design, the hotel's facilities are excellent. There's a grand, duplex-style gym that's truly impressive, and it boasts several Michelin-starred restaurants – a fantastic combination! The upcoming spa, set to open soon, also sounds very promising and is definitely something to look forward to.

Wat Mahathat in Ayutthaya
Wat Mahathat in Ayutthaya is one of the most iconic and historically significant temples in Thailand. Built during the early Ayutthaya Kingdom in the 14th century, it served as a major religious center and holds great cultural and historical importance.

A Sparkling Icon by the River: Discovering ICONSIAM
#springitinerary #ICONSIAM #BangkokShopping #LuxuryMallBangkok #RiverfrontVibes #ThaiCulturalMarket #BangkokTravel #ICONSIAMView #ChaoPhrayaRiver #BangkokEveningVibes
In Bangkok, I made a stop at the iconic ICONSIAM, a luxurious, multi-level shopping and lifestyle destination located right by the Chao Phraya River. It’s more than just a mall — it’s an experience.
I spent the afternoon exploring its stunning architecture, high-end brands, and the vibrant SookSiam zone — a recreated Thai floating market with traditional food, crafts, and performances. The riverside promenade was the perfect spot to relax with a drink and enjoy the breezy waterfront atmosphere, especially as the sun began to set.
From tech and fashion to local delicacies and art installations, ICONSIAM blends luxury with culture beautifully. It’s tourist-friendly yet feels authentic, and it’s easily one of the most impressive urban attractions in Bangkok.
Travel Tips:
• Best time to visit: Afternoon to evening (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM) for shopping, food, and riverside views.
• Must-see: SookSiam cultural market on the G floor, Apple Store with river views, and the nightly fountain show.
• Dining: Rooftop restaurants or food court options for all budgets.
• Wear comfy shoes: The mall is huge — you’ll do a lot of walking.
• Photo tip: Head to the riverside terrace for the best skyline shots.
• Great for: Families, couples, solo travelers, and shopaholics.
How to Get There:
• By BTS (Skytrain): Take the Silom Line to Krung Thonburi Station, then transfer to the Gold Line and stop at ICONSIAM Station.
• By Boat: Free shuttle boat available from Sathorn Pier (near Saphan Taksin BTS).
• By car or Grab: Easy to access, but traffic can be heavy around evening hours.
• Combine with: A Chao Phraya River cruise, or sunset dinner at a rooftop nearby.

Bangkok|The closest weekend floating market to the city 🛶 Check in with Kunling
There are not as many tourists as Damnoen Saduak, and even local Thais come here to visit💛 Prices are cheaper than in the city~
Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market
🚕 It is recommended to grab or bolt call a car, which costs about 180 baht from China Town and can be reached in about half an hour.
⏰Time: 08:00-17:00 every Saturday and Sunday
There are markets on both sides of the river, connected by a small bridge in the middle. The left side mainly sells local delicacies and snacks; the right side mainly sells handicrafts and literary accessories.
Super recommended‼ ️The boat noodle restaurant in the last photo! ! Super delicious~~
You can choose to charter or share a boat for the cruise
The cost of a shared boat is 100 baht per person, and the price of a chartered boat can be bargained with the boatman. My price that day was 600 baht, which included a floating market (BAAU SUAN BONUS)

Why Go To Bangkok ? 🇨🇷
Travelers have a hard time putting a pin in Bangkok's personality. Most first-timers see this city as one caught between the past and the present. Ancient temples and modern shopping malls comprise Thailand's capital, and Buddhist monks and regulars of Patpong (Bangkok's red light district) share the city's streets. The contrast can result in an exhilarating yet chaotic setting.
With that said, Bangkok's dynamic environment requires a lot of energy. Consistently hot weather and persistent crowds take their toll on unprepared visitors. Yes, the city seems to boil over with everything from humidity to humanity, but it's this exotic overabundance that charms travelers. Here, you'll find the world's largest open-air market, a world-class aquarium housed in an eight-level shopping mall, a 150-foot golden Buddha statue and so much more. It's a city of vast surprises, so savor its delightful incongruity.

Top Travel Hacks for Enjoying Bangkok’s Cityscape from Your Hotel
#travelhacks
Bangkok is a city that never fails to mesmerize with its dazzling skyline, a blend of historic temples and modern skyscrapers. For travelers eager to enjoy this magnificent cityscape without leaving the comfort of their hotel, here are some essential travel hacks to ensure you get the best view possible during your stay.
1. Choose Your Hotel Wisely
To get the most spectacular views of Bangkok, select a hotel known for its skyline vistas. Hotels in high-rise buildings near the Chao Phraya River or in the bustling Sukhumvit area often offer the best panoramic views. Research and request a room on a higher floor to maximize your viewing experience. Hotels like the Lebua at State Tower or the Banyan Tree Bangkok are renowned for their breathtaking cityscape views from their rooms and rooftop bars.
2. Book a Room with a View
When making your reservation, specifically ask for a room with a city view. Some hotels also offer corner rooms with expansive windows or rooms with balcony access, providing a broader perspective of the city. It’s worth contacting the hotel directly to express your preference and inquire about the rooms with the best views.
3. Visit Rooftop Bars and Restaurants
Even if your room doesn’t have the best view, you can still enjoy stunning cityscapes from the hotel’s rooftop bar or restaurant. These venues are designed to offer guests dramatic vistas while they dine or unwind. The Sky Bar at Lebua or the Vertigo and Moon Bar at Banyan Tree provide not just great drinks and food but also some of the most iconic views of Bangkok.
4. Timing is Everything
For photographers or anyone looking to capture the city’s beauty, timing can be crucial. Early morning offers a serene view of the city waking up, while dusk provides a magical backdrop with the skyline illuminated against the twilight. Check the time for sunrise and sunset during your stay and plan accordingly.
5. Utilize Hotel Amenities
Many luxury hotels in Bangkok offer amenities like observation decks or infinity pools that overlook the city. These can be great spots to relax and take in the view without the crowd often found in public spaces. Make sure to explore all the vantage points your hotel has to offer.
