Schonbrunn Palace is registered as a World Heritage Site. It is a very luxurious and beautiful palace built as a villa for the Habsburgs. You can enjoy the palace alone for a whole day, so if you are visiting Austria, I highly recommend you go there!! It is a little far from Vienna city, so first take the subway or tram to Schonbrunn. The palace is a 5-minute walk from the station, and you will suddenly see the beautiful pastel yellow 💛 By the way, this yellow color is called Maria Theresa Yellow after the name of the empress. The interior is in the Rococo style and is simply gorgeous. The Great Hall is a delicate place with beautiful chandeliers and ceiling paintings. Unfortunately, you cannot take photos inside, but it is because you cannot take photos that you can burn it into your eyes☺️ There are about 1,400 rooms in Schonbrunn Palace, but you can visit 40 of them. Even though there are only 40 rooms, it was so luxurious and full of things to see that it took quite a while lol The gardens are also huge, with a Japanese garden and a labyrinth garden. There was so much to see in the gardens, such as the Victory Column called the Gloriette and the Neptune Fountain⛲️, that I was able to spend a whole day relaxing just at Schonbrunn Palace 😚 There are multiple tickets available, so please buy the ticket that includes the room you want to see. The gorgeous decorations of medieval Europe are simply beautiful. The palace is decorated with art pieces, and you can feel the history of Bratislava. The old man is peeking out of a manhole, and he's very cute. The sign says he's working, but he's slacking off a lot. It's located right in the middle of the old town, so be sure to find it! ③ Michael's Gate (fourth photo) A gate surrounding the city wall built in the 14th century, and it's said that there used to be four of them. Now only Michael's Gate remains, and it is like the entrance to the old town. It was in an area with few people, but it is a wonderful symbol of the old town. Its cute shape makes it look great in photos📸 ④ Hlavně Square (6th photo) A square in the center of the city. It has a medieval European atmosphere, and when I visited, a movie set in the 19th century was being filmed there! Spending New Year's in Iceland Exploring glacier caves, witnessing the Northern Lights, riding Icelandic horses, and enjoying New Year's fireworks—this trip was filled with nature and left me completely satisfied. I hesitated for a moment, thinking winter might be too cold, but it was absolutely worth it! There are so many photos I couldn't share here, so I highly recommend taking a tour to fully experience Iceland's stunning nature! The tours I joined were: - A 2-night, 3-day East Coast tour - A 1-night, 2-day Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour Both were incredibly enjoyable! Seeing the Northern Lights depends on luck, but I managed to see them on about half of the nights during my stay—three nights in total! Next time, I want to experience Iceland in the height of summer when the days are long!

Slovakia is a minor country in Europe. I went to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, a wonderful place where history and modernity blend together! It's a compact city, so you can enjoy it in just a day or two 🤍 Let me introduce it to you right away ~ ① UFO Tower (first photo) As the name suggests, it is an observation deck shaped like a UFO 🛸 At a height of 80 meters, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Bratislava from the observation deck! There seems to be a cafe and souvenir shop on the observation deck, so please go and check it out. From a little distance, the combination of the modern UFO tower and the historical building was a strange feeling lol ② Count Grasalkovich Palace (second photo) This palace appears when you walk from the station towards the old town. It is the presidential residence and is said to be the White House of Slovakia. In front of the building there is a globe fountain ⛲️🌍 It is said to represent freedom. You can see the changing of the guard at around 12pm 💂 There is also a French-style garden in front of the palace where you can spend some relaxing time. It was a space that made me want to sit on a bench and read a book on my day off! ③Blue Church (photos 4 and 5) When you think of Bratislava, you think of the Blue Church. Its official name is St. Alzbeta Church ⛪️ It has a fairy-tale atmosphere with its pastel colors.
