I arrived just after noon, and the front desk staff were very friendly. They told me there was a vacant room, so I could check in right away — the whole process took only about 10 minutes. Smooth and easy! ✅ Room type: Queen bed room, quite spacious for a solo traveler — about 30 sqm. The minibar’s bottled water had such beautiful packaging, fitting perfectly with the hotel’s vintage vibe. I hadn’t seen that brand in normal supermarkets before, so I even took a photo of it. 💧📸 Sleep quality: The bed is high and the mattress is quite springy, offering strong support. I woke up without any back pain — very comfortable! The only downside was the duvet was tucked in super tight, and it took a lot of effort to pull it out from under the mattress. Still, overall I had several nights of very good sleep. Coming back to the room felt really calming. 🛏️💤 Bathroom: Thoughtful design with a small chair for bathing babies. The shower has a curtain you can close, adding privacy and comfort. 🚿👶 Note: The hotel is older, so the hallway lighting is quite dim. During my two-day trip in Yangshuo, I was torn about which hotel to choose. Eventually, I decided on this one located within the Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area—Yangshuo Yulong River Ten-Mile Gallery Qingju Hotel. This hotel is newly opened this year, so there aren’t many reviews available and limited information to reference. Initially, I considered another hotel, but after seeing a guest share photos of the rooftop views, I was impressed by the scenery. Plus, it’s part of the Atour brand, which I often stay at, so I ultimately chose this one. After staying for two days, I was quite satisfied with everything and would recommend it to others. I stayed here for two nights, with each night costing around 💰345 RMB, which is fairly reasonable. Since the hotel opened in 2025, everything is brand new, and both the facilities and services are excellent. The staff were warm and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located within the Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area, right next to Gongnong Bridge. There are many shops nearby where you can rent electric scooters, making it quick to get to West Street or the pier for bamboo rafting. Upon entering the hotel, staff will guide you through the check-in process. On the first floor, there’s a self-service breakfast restaurant, the front desk, and a laundry room. The laundry service is very convenient—you can leave your clothes in the laundry room with a note, and staff will wash, dry, and deliver them back to your room. I tried the self-service breakfast, but the restaurant is quite small with limited options, so it’s just average. You can fill up, but it doesn’t feel worth the price. I stayed in a Superior Mountain View King Room. The room isn’t very spacious, only about 20 square meters, but it’s clean and equipped with all the essentials. The window in the room is relatively small, so the view is somewhat limited, but you can still enjoy a decent mountain view. The rooftop was the main reason I chose this hotel. The top floor features a scenic terrace with a pool, a swing, and plenty of tables and chairs. From here, you can directly enjoy the mountain and river views along the Yulong River. The open view is perfect for taking photos. Since the hotel is newly opened, there weren’t many guests during my stay. 🏨 We really enjoyed our stay in Muse during our first dating trip to Bangkok. The room was clean throughout our stay.The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has huge glass wall that could be blocked out using an electric blind. But you could have a bath with a city view if you like. The service throughout the hotel was very attentive. Reached the hotel after a long road trip. It was easily reachable. The reception team was welcoming with warm hospitality. The room was decent and spacious. Had lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, highly recommended to take at least one meal at the hotel. Most days I took Uber from the hotel, 10-20 mins to reach the destinations in the city to visit. Excellent service from the staff — Miss Larra, Miss Abi, Sir Hex and Chef Daniel. Sir Hex was really attentive the whole time. It was really thoughtful of them to offer the right cutleries—Lightning MqQueen—for my little nephew and even granted our request for him to have a picture with the chef. And it ended up with an exclusive tour inside Chef Daniel’s kitchen! (Really grateful for this and too happy for my nephew.) I stayed at Mirror Lake Hotel during National week and had a lovely time there. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the Keyan Scenic Area which is literally behind, a 5-10 mins walk from to the entrance! The hotel is surrounded by greenery and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful! You can stroll around and find some benches and swings to chill! 🌿 My room was spacious and very clean! The bathroom surprisingly also had a bathtub 🛁 and free toiletries such as bath salts, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper and amenities such as towels, hair dryer, magnifying mirror… When you check in, you’re given a mini pouch with toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton pads and buds and a comb. The bed was soft and comfy! You’re also provided with water bottles, black tea, green tea, instant coffee & sugar. They also offer a plate fo fruits every day as well as a small bowl of soup every evening. The room is cleaned every day. There’s also a small balcony. The breakfast buffet is a mix of mostly Chinese and western options. I believe there’s so much variety for everyone. Breakfast was included in my booking and I’d recommend it as there aren’t many options around. KFC, Starbucks and a few Chinese restaurants are at the entrance of the scenic area, but that’s pretty much it. There’s a guy who stands by the entrance of the hotel and is pretty much the only one who speaks English. He’s very helpful and will guide you all the way to your room 👍🏼 I was also offered a goodie bag upon checkout with some Shaoxing specialities 😊 I’ll defo recommend this hotel for a getaway in a quiet environment or if visiting the Keyan Scenic Area is your main priority. Otherwise, downtown Shaoxing is about 20-30 mins by taxi 🚕. In the cold, wet months, we all require access to an indoor heated pool. We are swimming and rejoicing in the indoor heated pool while on holiday at the Hilton Hefei. There are 3 separate pools, two of which are circular heated pools. The third, larger pool, is a nice place to swim. It has a wonderful ambiance, polite and helpful personnel, and is clean. I celebrated my birthday weekend in Suzhou and wanted a good hotel to spoil myself. My stay at Renaissance Suzhou Hotel was fantastic! The service was great 👍🏼 It was such a sweltering hot day and I arrived there sweaty as hell! The receptionist immediately handed me a bottle of water 🥹 I booked a Guestroom Queen-bed & got upgraded to a room on the 14th view with an epic view of the city & Central Park, which is next to the hotel. The room was squeaky clean 👌🏼 with toiletries, essentials such as bottled water and also a basket of fruits with tonic water. There’s also a mini bar with some snacks and drinks at extra cost upon check-out. You can also find some souvenirs for sale on display near the snacks. I was looking forward to the bath tub and was pleasantly surprised to see that they also provided bath salts 😍 Toiletries: Towels, shower cap, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, soap, body lotion, sanitary bag, hairdryer & bathrobe. The body lotion and the shower gel smelled like heaven ❤️ The hotel has this eco-friendly initiative of reducing plastics ♻️ 🌏 You can use your card to get toothbrush and toothpaste from the “plastice” distributor in the lobby if you didn’t bring your own. Room facilities: mugs, glasses, air purifier, A.C, desk, lamp, sofa, TV, night lamp, notepad & pencil, brochures for room service, slippers, ironing board, iron, safe, full body mirror, wardrobe & drawers. On my birthday, I came back to my room with a birthday cake on a tray waiting for me 🥹 Thanks to the dear receptionist Clara 🙏 She speaks English and will share her contact if ever you have any queries during your stay. The lobby also has a vending machine near the lifts and you can always ask for extra water bottles at the reception desk when needed. The location is very convenient! It’s about 30 mins by car from Suzhou Railway Station. Central Park (Zhong Yang Gong Yuan, 中央公园) 🚇 station is about 8-10 mins walk from the hotel. Lots of malls are walking distance. The restaurant is also the Best in Hangzhou for fine dining and run under a 5 star luxury collection hotel. The buffet has both Western and Chinese cuisine. So many dessert flavors, and huge variety to choose from. The staff is so friendly and being a guest at the hotel makes it more comfy because you can get to walk around the hotel after your meal. The Panorama is right next to the Sky Bar and its also a great deal to spend the day with so much to do. For outside guest you have to make a reservation and its about ¥210.
