We pulled over on the side of the Ring Road, not totally sure if we were in the right spot. Just in time for sunset, and wow. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The sky lit up in this unreal blend of soft blue and glowing orange. And there, just casually hanging out was the moon. This was Eldhraun, Iceland’s moss-covered lava field. The moss usually vibrant green, was covered with snow. Walking through it feels like stepping onto another planet. Everything was quiet. No sounds, no people, just us and this frozen lava landscape. This site can be seen in a small village in Qinhuangdao city. An interesting note is I took these photos in spring time just after most of the snow melted. We went to the Goshikinuma Pond on the middle of Feb. The pond trail is about 3.6 km in length and it takes about 70 to 90 minutes one way. It is a relatively flat hiking course. The environment and the view is so snowy and quiet. I had wondrous walks around Madrid truly immersing in the atmosphere of Christmas. I loved looking at the decorations and lights around. It was very crowded at times but that did not stop me from taking photos. It was amazing to stumble upon squares and alleys all around, I do suggest to take your time and enjoy the scenery and spots especially the squares. There is also lots of historical buildings around and something to learn about as well. I must say it was fairly easy to walk around as all the streets and squares were connected hence you do not even need to take the metro nor bus. The second day in Paris. We visited to the popular Louvre museum where the masterpieces of art have been discovered. To visit every site room inside the museum, it could take at least 4 hrs. We lined up around 1 hr to take a picture with Monalisa 😂 Mostly, the historical arts room such as Italian, French are crowded. Quite a few people who like modern art rooms like Spanish art. A villa home away from home🏖, just 15 minute drive south of the airport which is great for a late arrival flight like ours. our plan was to travel Bali a little but after arriving at such a peaceful paradise we decided to just stay in our villa and relax. The private 🏊🏻pool is a really good size with extra shallow part in the shade if you have smaller children. cooking facilities available although the food from the restaurant was delicious, the salmon was a highlight as were the salads 🥗. Breakfast was pretty good too good selection and eggs to your liking every morning. Fridge was a good size and just what we needed to keep your drinks cool ready for the cocktail mix 🍹🍸😋. Dining area was beautifully set up every morning, and it just had such a lovely home away from home feel, whether it was reading a book by the pool or splashing around in the pool. There are 2 other big pools 🏊🏻in communal areas where you can just enjoy the view and green scenery, very clean and well maintained😀. The five fishing villages are Monterosso (the largest of the Cinque Terre villages), Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. This is one of the must visit attraction while visiting Italy! This place is so picturesque, pretty with colourful ancient buildings and tiny harbor filled with colourful boats! A picture perfect place! We took the train travelling from a fishing village to another, and only stopped by Manarola and Riomaggiore village! Spend the day strolling around, taking photos and taking in the sea, the views, the buildings are simply romantic and leisurely relaxing! Would love to return during the summer!

The most striking feature of the spring is the color of its water: crystal green. After entering the gate of the scenic spot, along the riverside, there are towering peaks on one side and flat farmland on the other. Further ahead, you can see a 15-hole arch bridge, built in the Qing Dynasty, with bamboo rafts passing through it from time to time. The village connected to this bridge is called Nianantun, where you can feel the original pastoral life. There is also the Yang Yu Temple, where in front of the temple are three huge stone steles from the Qing Dynasty, including the "Equan Pavilion Stele".

#wintertrip When we were in Zhuhai this winter, we made a stop at the Zhuhai Museum! 🏢 We were blown away by what we found! 🤯 First of all, the museum is MASSIVE! It has two halls: one covering the history of Zhuhai’s local cultures, and one about recent economic development. 🏯📈 The hall about Zhuhai’s ancient cultures and minorities was SO interesting! We learned about cultural ceremonies, ways of life (like mud fishing!) and even some dishes which are still eaten locally today. 🎣🥘🐲 In the economic development hall, you can see how Zhuhai became such a major part of the Guangdong region. Plus there are coffee shops and gift shops, and the coffee shop on the top floor has a GREAT view of the Zhuhai theatre! ☕️🌊 Honestly, this museum would have been worth ANY ticket price, but did I mention that entry is FREE???😱 If you’re in Zhuhai, DON’T miss this absolute treasure of a stop! You will be SO glad you went!! 🤩

Sichuan province is famous for its mountains. Emeishan is one of those impressive and tourist friendly mountains/national parks. But if you want to see the Golden Summit it’s not a walk in the park.. don’t let those stairs deceive you. You will face over 40km of stairs climbing up.. And it gets steeper the higher you go. It will take about 2 days. And as we speak of winter trips, the last third of the way will be covered with snow. But I promise you, every step will worth it! You will see real nature and go through temples. In some of them you can stop for a night. And you will be basically alone the whole way.. you know why? Because not many people choose to climb this mountain. Yes, there is another way 😅 Bus + cable car. But I really advise you to hike the way up and use the easy option for coming down. This is Jovy's Grill. It is a Filipino Restaurant in Seoul. My boyfriend wanted to try some Filipino dishes so we came here. Most of the customers on this day were Koreans, which is quite surprising. We had sizzling sisig, calamari, and bicol express. My bf also tried the Red Horse beer, and he loved it. We bought 2 more bottles for take out. The foods were soo good, you should try them. I did also spend a little time to visit the Shirakawa-go which is one of the national heritage. As far as I know, winter is the most favorite time of the year here in Japan.
