Upperhills Is on of Shenzhen’s newest malls and it’s design really helps it stand out from all the other malls in the city. Located towards the north of downtown it’s been built on a huge plot of land so it’s able to offer a lot more than your standard mall. Inside you have the usual offerings of fast fashion, mid level brands and accessories - along with a big decathlon store for sporting goods. The stand out feature of the mall by far is the roof level, there is a sprawling outdoor section that’s full of coffee shops, restaurants and smaller boutique stores. The walls where are all painted different shades or red & orange and the al fresco dining helps you feel like you’re somewhere in Europe. Today I visited a new mall called Greenbelt in Manila. All I can say is it exceeded my wildest expectations and was utterly fantastic. It is a modern mall and makes for a nicer experience than some of the other older facilities that you usually see in Manila.
