The lingering garden is one of the oldest gardens in Suzhou. It is located in the Gusu district of suzhou, and is known for many things and one of the things is it’s really beautiful and simplistic windows. This garden is special because all around the garden there are different rooms and chambers which are all separated but still connected at the same time. And this is all because of the design of the windows. One thing that you would notice is that these windows aren’t like your average windows they do not have the normal glass that you would have in your regular Windows so they are designed so that they create a separation between the inside and the outside and also creates a connection at the same time between inside and outside. which I consider really amazing. #suzhou #scenicspotguide #suzhoulandmark #scenicspotphotoguide #suzhougardens #awesomepic

One thing to notes when you’re at the the the Lingering Garden in Suzhou. Is that you are going to have a high possibility of getting lost in the Lingering Garden is not one of the biggest gardens of Suzhou but there are so many different rooms and chambers which in the olden times serve different purposes, such as receiving guests, dining spaces, the rooms and sleeping chambers, the meeting rooms and so many more. when I got there for the first time I realized this very quickly that I would have to pay attention to where I am in the garden so as not to completely get lost there are so many different quarters and doorways they lead to new places all the time. This garden has actually been around for centuries now and one thing that is really amazing is the fact that over the years many of the same structures that were around hundreds of years ago are still present to this day. There are even some pictures that were taking hundreds of years ago that can still be compared to more recent pictures. #suzhou you’re looking for a place that is super calm and beautiful with the more traditional Chinese look then the Lingering Garden is the place for you. whenever I visit a new location one thing I like to do is to take out my camera and do some streets photography. And during this time I don’t only take pictures of the streets, the buildings, the lights, or the surroundings, I also take lots of pictures of the people because it’s important to capture how it feels to live in the moment of the pictures. there are usually a lot of more people on this particular road but on this day there were a lot fewer because of the weather. Despite that fact I was still able to capture so many interesting people doing interesting things. While walking along this road called Pingjiang Lu, there were a bunch of different shops and different stores on either side of the road in which you could check out if you needed to. One of these shops that I went to was this tea shop where you can try out different types of tea made with flowers with fruits and which would smell amazing. So I was able to stop there and try some nice tea and then I moved on to other places. However walking along this road he would see so many other shops that aren’t necessarily restaurants but you can see shops where they sell art where you can buy decorations jewelry souvenirs and much more. #foodie #cafe #awesomepic #suzhou #suzhoulandmark #pingjianglu

the best time to Visit any one of these Suzhou gardens is when there are as few tourists as possible. This was the case when I visited the Lingering Garden on this day, I set out very early in the morning because I and some other people were invited to take some pictures at this location. the moment I arrived, I was super excited at the fact that the whole#suzhou place was completely empty. so there was only one thing to do and that was to get shooting. I was able to get some self portraits, after a while of shooting it started to rain, which gave the garden quite a different and interesting feel. also I’m a huge fan of the design of the trashcans. #suzhoulandmark #suzhougardens #suzhou #nationalpark

One of my favorite pastimes for when I visit the Pingjiang Lu, is to watch these people row down and up this amazing canal.  these waterways are located in the beautiful city of Suzhou in China and Suzhou’s is popularly known as the Venice of the east. why is it known as that, well that’s because of it's many water canals and bridges around the city! fun fact, more than 42% of the city is covered in water. scattered across the city you’re gonna see so many of these canals and waterways in different spots and this particular location is no different. When traveling around in Suzhou one of the places that you have to visit is a Pingjiang Lu this place is filled with energy. and as the city opens back up, more and more people have started to make their way back here. This road is one of the most popular and oldest historical streets here in Suzhou, so you’re bound to see so much culture, from the food, to the dressing, to the architecture, and many more. Another trip spent as part of our #merrychristmas get together with #lovingfamily. Eversince this was my top favorite #suzhoulandmark, I want here for 4x already but I used to bring and will always recommend this to any of my relative. I Love most especially watching its #beautifulnature and #beautifulsunsets while kids enjoyed the many #colorfulscenery and playgrounds #merrychristmas
